Do you guys not get the Bob & Tom show out there? It's syndicated across the country. The Mr. Obvious Show is a running bit that they have, which is what started the whole thread. Those who have heard it get it right away. Since Bob & Tom are based in Indy, it's a safe bet that the Indy folks know full well it is a joke.

No, Mellencamp is OK -- he has officially disowned the Colts. I was at one of his concerts in Chicago long ago. During a break in the music he praised the Bears and slammed the Colts as a carpet-bagged franchise that wasn't homegrown and not really part of the Indy community fabric. True story.

No, Mellencamp is OK -- he has officially disowned the Colts. I was at one of his concerts in Chicago long ago. During a break in the music he praised the Bears and slammed the Colts as a carpet-bagged franchise that wasn't homegrown and not really part of the Indy community fabric. True story.

Really? Not a big Mellancamp fan, but it would be odd if that was the case since he performed and the Thursday night season opener last year. I doubt that Colts would want him there if he was so critical of them publicly.
