i disagree about steroidman not being the first player to look to when talking about unfair competitive advantage. he's already betrayed, embarassed and disrespected anybody and everybody he's ever played for or against. he's an expert in the area.

As much as I hate the Seahawks, I've been to qwest field at least 5 times including the infamous romo game and I have to admit they are pretty loud. Plus if memory recalls right, the NFL already looked into it and checked the stadium out after the Giants had 13 false starts or something in a game a few years back.

merriman never said implied it was an illegal advantage, he simply stated something , he didn't even say they cheated

Hey SFBS, having extra microphones up and piping in crowd noise IS against the rules. The fact that he SAID that Seatle has extra microphones up to increase the crowd noise IS saying and implying that they are cheating even if he didn't say "The Seahawks cheat".

Honestly, it's Shawne M. He also accused the Titans and Jeff F. of setting up that play this season when he was injured. It was all a load of crap. It's really hard to invest in anything he has to say, IMHO.
