Brian Johnson is way better than Bon Scott. There's a reason why AC/DC reached its greatest levels of success after Scott managed to kill himself. I like AC/DC's early stuff (and no one else could ever do Big Balls justice other than Scott), but Brian Johnson is as much AC/DC at this point as Angus Young.

Paula at Superbowl Half. Halftimes have become a joke these days! Is this setting stage for surprise?

NFL keeps trying to use half time show as a way to draw in non-football audience. paula brings in the american idol crowd they must be thinking, which is large. not that care anyway since i never watched the show anyway

I hated the stupid dancing cat music video and when that came out i was under 10. There was just no reason to put a stupid cat that almost tried to resemble a gangster in a music video. I mean the song was opposites attract but i dont think gangster cats with tiny mohawks and one pierced earing were the idea Abdul was trying to go for. If so then shes more of a freak than any of us ever knew.

Is there a reason it seems that too many superbowl half times recently feature musicians who are just too old?

Last Year -- Prince -- 20 years past his prime
2 Years Ago- Rolling Stones -- 30 years too late
3 Years Ago Paul Mcartney -- 40 years

They've obviously been doing that to draw in the Boomer Generation viewer. They have the disposable income numbers, and ratings numbers with these demographics means everyone comes off happy.

It's marketing, that's all....

I'd much rather listen to them then today's "music", if you it that" crap of garbage. I like it when the artist actually play their instruments and say something in their song. Then again great timeless music started to die around 1975 anyway.
