Jacobs is there right now.

You couldn't have been more wrong about everything as far as depth at this position, and you try to flip it around that you are right because a few UFA rookies made the team.

And one did because the person you said incessantly was #3 LB was horrible and cut. Ok he would have made it anyway, but he's the only good one of the bunch.

Canada will be gone if Schooler comes back, but it's only special teams, not positional, and we'll see how long Arkin lasts because I think he's worse than Ryan Izzo. I liked Jacobs after the second game, and mentioned it on the board. He could bail you out, or not play all year. We'll see.

You were right about Boutte. Take credit. But here, wrong. The UFA crap means nothing until they play in a few games and prove they are actual NFL players.

You're "best" player is gone, and nobody else has remotely flashed.

On a lesser team that didn’t make the Super Bowl Ponder is starting. If the Pats were thin at OLB last year Ponder plays more and posts more stats.

You didn’t prove anything, especially since your contention is ILB and CB are “thin.” Jacobs, Obi and Canada are here because they belong, they earned it.

but more than likely, they are here because 5 players that were roster locks, are not here. Bryant, Hill, Landry, Jennings and Schooler.
In addition, any of those 3, most likely will not be here as the 5 come back (really 4, as Hill will not be back). furthermore, they may not last the week (or even today) pending other teams players coming on board.

Thought Latu would be a better playmaker on Offense in the Pros. Anyway I still think Tanner Arkin belongs on a PS and not the 53 until further notice.

For some reason almost every position group on that paper list seems thin. In my mind we were a stronger (deeper) roster this year, but it just doesn't look like that. I'm not being a panic-fan, but we could struggle this year. If 1 injury to the top half of each position group, and we could be a 9 win team.
Weak at DE & TE, Very Old & Young/Injury concerns at OL, No experienced depth at DB & LB
WR & RB is the only area with good starters & decent depth (presuming Miller, Larison on PS)

I wouldn’t count on it. I don’t believe he’s had a regular season reception.
