Unless there was some clear insinuation that this woman was either under age or part of a sex trafficking ring, the police should really find other **** to do. These laws are stupid anyway.

My first thought was that it was a police sting. They like to get some headlines for busting guys that were entrapped by false advertising on one of those sites. Theory is that the publicity suppresses the activity, as the successful reduction in such activities demonstrates - NOT!

I’m really curious about that trailer park. I wonder if the police own or rent a trailer there. It could be useful for undercover operations in narcotics trafficking as well I’d think.

Or, if it wasn’t a sting then there is only one obvious possible cause for the initial arrest, and that would be that there was already an ongoing sex trafficking investigation targeting the individual that he was meeting in the trailer park. If so, and they IDed him they clearly took the opportunity to grab the headlines even though it gives up the prostitution bust. Which says she was a freelancer, they weren’t investigating a major organized criminal operation or they wouldn’t burn the investigation on those headlines.

I’m slightly favoring the latter, a known freelancer, over the sting, just because in the trailer park that seems more likely. Stings usually use hotels or motels.
