At first thought it was crazy but kept doing it because they kept winning.

The least surprising thing I find about modern high school kids is that they will have incense, moonstones, charging crystals, altoid tins as altars, tarot cards, spell jars, etc.

Oh, these are the goth kids you say? No, it was prevalent on my kids prep school soccer and lacrosse teams. I'd say 1/3rd of the kids are doing some form of this.

Travel to Salem lately? They are doing better than ever touristically.

What you left out was what happened when you threw the water on her. If you showered with her, that's another matter entirely (especially with your shoes on).
