PATRIOTS TRAINING CAMP 2026 Patriots Training Camp - Day 12

I said Boutte has to play because in his position he would be an idiot not to. And he knows that.
Branch was in the same spot as Boutte and he forced a trade.

Therefore, Boutte under NE contract amounts to 5hit.

Heads should roll if this happens.

So the people who turned them from dogshit into a legit contender overnight should be fired if they make a bad signing or trade? That's how the bad franchises behave, knee jerk responses. The teams that consistently contend are the teams that have stability, not the ones who listen to idiot fans who get their nutsack twisted any time something doesn't go the way they want it to.

Your ignorance is only exceeded by your drunkenness.
Is Boutte holding out?
Is Boutte a SB MVP?
Is Boutte worth a 1st round pick?

I don’t care that Boutte asked to be traded. He is under contract and has every incentive to play his best.
Well, you have finally quoted me and not made up something and attributed it to me.
Ironically by doing so you prove you are wrong.

Never stated otherwise.

Some Dolt stated that Boutte had no options since he was under contract.

Thanks for not lying.

Branch was under contract with every incentive to play for NE, but he shot his way out of town.

Boutte is practicing because the Pats are trying to receive the highest value possible in a trade that Boutte requested.

This was the "problem" the patriots had for years when they were perennial Superbowl contenders. It is tough to draft players who are better today then the players who have been in the system, and in the NFL for years. So you are forced to get rid of some promising rookies who might eventually be better. Two years ago the team sucked, last years draft class had an easy time getting playing time and making the team. Last year's team was much better, it is going to be much tougher for those rookies to make the team. People always blamed BB's drafting, and to some extent, especially the last few years that was fair, however the results for most of that time were hard to debate.

Exactly what option do you think he has?

Branch held out. Branch was a SB MVP. Branch had the value of a #1 pick.
Boutte is none of those things.

No he is practicing because he isn’t being traded, he is a big part of the 2026 team, and he is required to practice or hold out, not get paid, not get traded and having his contract toll.

I just explained to you why Boutte isnt holding out.

Boutte is none of those things.
Both players were/are in year 4 of their rookie contracts.
Both players want/wanted more money.

Boutte isnt holding out because that would only diminsh his value in a trade.
Branch did not have that issue.

Become a distraction to force his way out of town.
You have stated this multiple times.
So when will he become a distraction?
Don’t you think that would have already happened 2 weeks into camp?
You can keep saying he will become a distraction, and I will keep pointing out he has done nothing but show up when mandatory and work his ass off.
A guy who isn’t willing to work doesn’t lay out for catches multiple times in practice.
