Video of what Lazar mentioned:
Andrew Luck if he was on a much better team, especially much better blocking.I think Maye's comp is Daryl Lamonica, "the mad bomber".
who said that
Was it hot enough for hydration to be an issue? I was wondering about cramps but hydration could also cause susceptibility to strains I think. So Doubs, Williams and Brown all left the field. None sound serious hopefully.
At 262 lbs. Arkin's 4.88 sec 40 is not that bad - but below average. I think the phrase is functional speed. When Arkin loses a step in 4 to 6 years, he career will be shortened, but he is Ok for now, but strictly a blocking guy.Tanner Aarkin is a really good blocker but he couldn't beat Brady right now in a footrace. We need to inquire about Cole Kmet or one of those Ram TE's: they have like a hundred.
Saw several WRs apparently get dinged up. Good time for a day off.Of COURSE there will be a day off tomorrow. God forbid they practice 4 whole days in a row.
He should be a PS stash at the very least: I would like us to get a better Third TE.At 262 lbs. Arkin's 4.88 sec 40 is not that bad - but below average. I think the phrase is functional speed. Maybe next year we see the TEs being Raridon, Hill, and Arkin. There are calls to extend Henry but he is getting long in the tooth.TE... Raridon was quiet. That is fine. He has earned enough to get a pass today. Tanner though locking down TE3 be great. That youth movement. If he really turns into a good young blocker though... I assume you cut him for Hill next year. But that would be unfortunate.
Iton has been showing some flash. He might have passed Farmer. And Durden seems to already have established himself at the top of the pecking order behind Williams and Barmore.DT - Farmer? I've heard nothing. Still hopeful.
PS stash is OK. We upgraded from Hooper to Raridon. Next year they can try for another TE - 4th or 6th round type to be TE3. This year for TE I think they go with what they have. It is only Y2 of Vrabel, it will take another year or two to stabilize the roster. I just hope they keep their picks in '27 instead of trading up so they can fill out the bottom of the roster. He should be a PS stash at the very least: I would like us to get a better Third TE.
I’d be okay with them trading up and those picks filling out the bottom of the roster. Or pushing the middle of the roster down to the bottom.PS stash is OK. We upgraded from Hooper to Raridon. That is kind of what they did with Prunty and Obiazor. I think they need a volume of picks to fill out the roster and moving up means less picks. It is supposedly a great and deep draft so I hope we maximize our pick count. Back to training camp .I’d be okay with them trading up and those picks filling out the bottom of the roster. His blocking ability will force teams to put a linebacker on him which can make him effective in goal line / short yardage situations chipping and leaking out to the flat if he can move and catch even halfway decently. At 262 lbs.
