Seahawks got SB advice from source with conflict of interest

Did Vrabel tell Dianna Russini the game plan? Hmmm…

Possible but he’d have no motivation to hide anything.
Sure he does. Brady wants his love in NE to remain true.

McDonald doesn’t want to irritate an executive he might deal with in the future or gain the reputation as having loose lips.

I don’t recall any reports, beyond pure speculation by salty fanboys.
You were likely too busy arguing opinions that always turn out to be wrong.

The Dolphins owner also offered Brady ownership in the team when he was tampering with Brady in 2019.

You did not hear about that either.

Okay.

Has nothing to do with Bob offering Tom a share. Provide a source with a link?

Like that time I told you AJ Brown to the Patriots was already a done deal after you whined about the overriding need for a WR1?

That kind of “wrong?”

I never suggested the Krafts should.

Also NFL owners can in fact offer former players an ownership stake in their team, provided enough time has passed and the individual is no longer an active employee (player, coach, or executive) of the franchise.

In 1998, then-owner Pat Bowlen offered Elway a 20% stake in the Broncos franchise. The deal consisted of:

  • 10% in exchange for $21 million in deferred salary the team owed him.
  • 10% for $15 million paid out of pocket.
Elway declined the offer, reportedly because he did not see himself as an executive or business owner of the team. This decision ultimately cost him an estimated $900 million to $930 millionwhen the team was sold to the Walton-Penner group in 2022 for $4.65 billion.

Even if Brady lobbied Kraft for a Patriots ownership stake before he "bought in" with Las Vegas, it wouldn't have flown for multiple reasons. Among them: provided it got league approval (no sure bet), just 3 percent would've cost him $270 million out of pocket.

300 million isn’t what it used to be.

Yeah. I suppose that's why Brady's kids live on cornflakes and bologna sandwiches while their dad burns the candle at both ends toiling as a broadcaster, running the Raiders and making commercials while administrating CardVault, Goodnut and NOBULL. Poor guy's got to do "what is best for his family."

It was Jerod Mayo
close
I assume it was SteveB
He was a defensive coach in Seattle 18 months ago, and I assume made some connections there
he would know McD's offense like the back of his hand, after watching it for the entirety of his professional life

His name is Belichick… of course it was him.

Agreed, he got the Vegas deal at a very reasonable price. The valuation of Vegas was a lot less than New England. Vegas also has no state or millionaire’s tax. We don’t know if these conversations even took place.

I don’t spend other people’s money or tell them how much is enough. I think that’s silly.

The NFL is a money generator, a stake in a team is generational wealth that goes beyond cash in the bank.

There's still a chance it was Brady. If you already obfuscated your source once.... *shrugs*

But the fact that we even think there's a possibility is not a good look for Tom. Regardless of how Belichick or Kraft treated you...you're still treating the fans pretty poorly.

And if it was a Belichick? The petty is just off the charts.

So the Brady bashing in this topic was for nothing. Huh.
I didn’t bash Brady but I am not sure I’m buying the denial.

It’s not like he would ever come clean and admit it so for me the denial tells us nothing.

This is false. Steve Belichick never coached for Seattle

He really wouldn't know what to tell them. But if he did, he'd immediately walk it back anyways.

He never coached for the Seahawks. He was a coach for the Huskies.

Agreed. I always get a kick out of that when people in general say that generic phrase - especially when defending millionaires.

Assuming Brady gave information on McDaniels offense, he did it because he wants the Pats to lose so his legend goes on forever. Joe Montana didn't care for Steve Young and enjoyed watching him struggle aside from 1994. Montana still remains the GOAT of the 49ers. Terry Bradshaw has always been critical of the Steelers - especially Mike Tomlin. Troy Aikman loved watching Romo and now Prescott come up short in the playoffs and you could hear it in his voice he liked to see the Cowboys continually choke. Aikman and the 90's Cowboys legend lives on. Brett Favre didn't care for Aaron Rodgers who Rodgers later didn't care for Jordan Love. When Mahomes is gone, he will also not want any other QB to come close to matching what he did. It's not out of the realm of possibility Brady would want to see Maye or anyone else that plays QB flame out.

Kinda wish it was Tom now to **** with you salty niggas

forever my GOAT

No now they will say it was Tom and Macdonald is lying.

Bashing the GOAT over complete BS . SMH

I mean, think about it what could Brady tell them that wasn’t already on tape like the Pats being vulnerable on the left side of the OL? There were three playoff games worth of tape of that same thing. . Even a low level college coach who watched film could take advantage of that.

What was the intel given to Macdonald, hey coach their left side of the offensive line can’t pass block.
