I am expecting a pro bowl season

He needs to focus on getting stronger at the point of attack. Seattle already told the media the blueprint after the Super Bowl saying the Pats offense is dead to rights when bull rushing the left side of the OL. Some guys aren't able to overcome that.

Campbell's mental toughness is also going to be tested opening night. The media humiliated him pretty badly after the Super Bowl already calling for his job. He will be scrutinized throughout training camp.

One can only hope. That's my response to all Campbell posts.
he has a body of work pre injury that says he will be very good if healthy year 2
another year getting stronger
another year to improve technique
another year understanding the blocking schemes and responsibilities
will be situated beside another pro bowler

maybe all pro rather than pro bowl

I really, really hope he mother****s all who test him. I’d like to see him shut that **** down quick.

Seahawks didn't lose anyone super important on defense, starting-wise. Opinions are seemingly very divided on Woolen. Mafe was a rotational piece for them - a very consistent piece when placed in, which shouldn't be detailed - consistent rotational pieces can be the lifeblood of a defense. But still, their starters are fine. Plus they still have Emmanwori. However, losing Bryant is pretty big - he had great coverage ability and I wonder how much that opened up Emmanwori's game.

Should be an interesting matchup, and I hope our new weapons can also help out the OL in just making our offense more of a headache to plan around.

What happens if the Seahawks blow Campbell up again?

I suppose that his injury could be used as an excuse that its not fully 100% yet.

I noticed it all last season that he was getting pushed back, but not to the extent post injury. If he can stand his ground, it will not shock me if the Pats beat them opening night. Darnold was getting pretty flustered before their ground game gashed the Pats defense.

It's something I really don't want to see or else it will not only spell trouble for him, but the team as well. The media will call for him to be benched in favor or Lomu.

The 3 players along the line that could derail the Pats season are Campbell (how does he respond post playoffs), AVT (injury prone) and Wilson (does he play better at his natural C position than G).

And if he plays a strong game do the naysayers go away

People who compete for a living are scrutinized every day.

A Fourth overall shouldn't have so many warts. I would have taken Armand Membou or King Tet over T-Rex last year...oh well.

Campbells draft report has many references of him being pushed around and that is why so many want him at G.

I believe that the Pats will give Campbell help with a FB as last line of defense.

Wilson should be good to go. If VCT goes down Campbell moves to LG and Lomu at LT. It seems like thats the future.

Where did they say that?

I saw quotes from Seattle defenders saying their whole game plan was focused on Maye because he's their only offensive threat, but nothing specific to Campbell.
