It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I like when teams get aggressive and pick spots to blitz because the BB "wait and let the opposing team make a mistake" game plan wasn't working and was quite boring. Every once in a while you have to throw in some splash plays to throw the offense off.
But it's without question they are doing this because the overall pass rush isn't very good.
Well, he did have the most painful ankle sprain in the history of humanity. You can still hear his shrieks of agony echo down Route 1 on dark, foggy nights.Careful, be gentle, you don’t want to make him start crying again.
I thought he was screaming in fear that the injury would end his days of kicking defensive players in the groin, forever.Well, he did have the most painful ankle sprain in the history of humanity. You can still hear his shrieks of agony echo down Route 1 on dark, foggy nights.
Let's get pissed off when he 1) makes a roster, 2) plays in a regular season game 3) starts and/or is named a starter or 4) is an all-pro level player.I checked over at PFT to see what's up in the NFL today and saw an article that IMMEDIATELY pissed me off not end. One of my 7th round binkies was Uar Borden, An athletic freak of a DLman that was found in Nigeria on the international program. I had seen a couple of articles about him in the run up to the draft and thought, "that's the kind of kid you take at the end of the draft and incubate him a couple of years and you might wind up with a special player, like the Eagles did with their stellar OT from Australia. Instead, WE pick, a slap-**** LB from BC who offered the OPPOSITE athletic profile and less than zero chance to make the roster. A truly wasted pick.
I normally don't complain about the front office like some, AND thought they did a great job the first 2 days of the draft and in the off season, but the 3rd day left me cold, and the BC pick was the last straw with our last 6 picks, with maybe the exception of Crownover. (all the OTA's HAVE made me feel better about Prounty based on reports that he was "sticky" in coverage. We shall see when the pads come on. But back to the point.
This article just gushed about how freakishly big strong and fast Borden was and just made me feel worse about our lack of any creativity and imagination we had at the end of the 3rd day with our picks. Just sayin'
i know i don't watch the falcons a ton but this deal is so ridiculous. People were arguing that its a good deal for a slot. Ok.
Except hes a super underwhelming tight end. Congrats on almost getting 1000 yards but let's see you block
That's more than I would have spent on him.i know i don't watch the falcons a ton but this deal is so ridiculous. People were arguing that its a good deal for a slot. Ok.

He did, after jerking around 3 other schools to drive the price up. Also, he's not even that good. He's what I would call 'fine'.Plus did he really get $5 million to go to tech this year? Holy ****. Then the Texas AG screws up the situation more by being friends with the head booster at tech and threatening legal action.
Must be nice to be a nepo baby

Seems like you're looking for nits to pick, coach.
Excellent
No. Let's get pissed NOW!. Bernard's size, strength, speed and athleticism is well documented and exists now! The question now is will he be able to translate that talent into playing football and playing at a level commensurate to that talent. Tell me, Steve, wouldn't you rather have THAT potential on OUR roster, even though you know it will be a year or two before we see tangible results of our very small investment. We had that opportunity in our hands and INSTEAD picked a guy with a low RAS (relatively) and moderate accomplishments and won't be on the team come September.Let's get pissed off when he 1) makes a roster, 2) plays in a regular season game 3) starts and/or is named a starter or 4) is an all-pro level player.
