No. Let's get pissed NOW!. Bernard's size, strength, speed and athleticism is well documented and exists now! The question now is will he be able to translate that talent into playing football and playing at a level commensurate to that talent. Tell me, Steve, wouldn't you rather have THAT potential on OUR roster, even though you know it will be a year or two before we see tangible results of our very small investment. We had that opportunity in our hands and INSTEAD picked a guy with a low RAS (relatively) and moderate accomplishments and won't be on the team come September.

Now all draft picks are just educated guesses and teams succeed or fail in those guesses for all kinds of reasons. But this one was a NO brainer. All the physical elements were documented and prodigious. The rewards were huge. The risks meager. Why not take the plunge ESPECIALLY when you other option is just so completely Unspectacular

Nope, we are gonna differ on this one. Not getting pissed because some writer agrees with your take on a kid who's a late round possible gem but very likely a JAG or even a nobody. I'm just not interested in getting pissed off at them in the first week of summer. I prefer to analyze what happens and hold them accountable when it blows up in their face. Or doesn't. Recent history here is pretty good. They won 14 and made it to the Super Bowl. I'm not on the MVWT boat yet, but I'm in line to buy a ticket. Let's see how this all pans out.

Look at his numbers from last season, he was literally the most valuable player in football. Does he need to come close to repeating that performance, yes, but he certainly put himself in the conversation.

Well he was a top 2 QB last year, is putting a 23 year old QB top 3 the following year, with a full year of development, that much of a stretch???

Maye is easily a top 3 QB.

Stafford, Allen, Maye. If Maye duplicates 2025, he will be regarded as the arguably the top QB in the NFL going into 2027. Stafford is getting older and the Bills continue to nerf Allen.

I said there's a valid argument that he's top-3, not that he definitively is top 3. That said, given his contract and age, there's literally nobody I would trade him for straight up.

Four counts of assault, four of kidnapping, and they’ve barely opened the book. They could easily add conspiracy, probably other charges. They’ve got cooperating co-conspirators, who probably have even more charges available (weapons). He may be collecting social security while he’s still in the pen.
