2026 Pats schedule leaks

They already have a look ahead line up on bet365, only 4.5 point underdogs.

Given that it’s in Seattle, that’s a surprisingly low line.
They have their power ratings that they trust they don't adjust them very much off of one head to head game like a fan does in our head.

It will probably be bet up by the public though expecting a similar result to the Super Bowl.

If that's true - I don't mind too much.
1 - get one of the 2 west coast trips out of the way with a ~12 day prep from preseason #3, and a 10 day recovery.
2 - it won't be a huge pressure game when ALL hype will be on SEA. We'll be assumed to lose, east coast team, SB blowout, etc.
3 - Seahawks are one of the few "sure losses" projected this season, so to get that out of the way will be fine so it doesn't hit us later in season when all teams are warmed up and we're fighting for playoff seeding.
4 - if we somehow pull out a surprise win, it'll be like supercharging the season. The whole NFL will be on notice.

I heard it reported as a part of the headline wrap up on Sirius NFL Radio this evening. No commentary, no caveats or attribution, just a one-liner that the season opener will be NE at Seattle on Wednesday night.

Seems it’s becoming a well known fact.

Knew we were going to open the season vs Seattle... Tough sledding right out the door... Least it's favorable for travel... Can go a day early, reset the internal clocks so it won't feel like an 11 pm start for us...

Damn, 3 big NFC games all on the road in prime time already announced. Still happily surprised they won all their road games last year
I love watching us on the road more than I do at home...

Here's some positive factors.. Kenny Walker beat us on offense.. I'd expect us to actually be able to at least touch Darnolds Jersey on Defense as opposed to the superbowl where he was way to comfortable in the pocket..

The offensive line will want some get back.. put in Hill and Gillaim and Punish Seattle's over aggressive front ..it will slow down thier rush.. getting the running game going.. AJ and Doubs will eat up thier DBs that love man coverage..

If we beat Seattle week one the haters will just talk about our easy schedule. After all, the team we just beat is 0-1. They haven’t even won a single game yet so how good could they be?

im not worried about being positive at this point, nor the strengths / weaknesses of our opponents... Camp etc still has to run its course... we don't even know who will be on the 53... and the other teams are in the same boat... too many variables between now and the start of the season...

Its more about figuring out the advantages and disadvantages the schedule brings to us... things like the bye week (after germany i am assuming), how many teams we face coming off a bye week, how many national games, how many 1 pm starts, how many weeks in a row are we on the road vs how many times we have a multi-game homestand... when are the division games etc... things like that

Love how we have Patriots leaks of 3 national or prime time games... and 1 random Jets game in December. Lol

Yup. Darnold in the Super Bowl was about what I expected from Darnold in the Super Bowl. 50% completion and barely 5 yards per attempt. Hopefully we can make him see ghosts again.

So far, unofficial:

Week 1: @ Seattle
Week 7: @ Chicago
Week 16 @ Jete
