PATRIOTS NEWS 2026 Pats schedule leaks

Breaking New England Patriots Team News
I was hoping for Seattle on October 11 since I will be in Portland on the 10th for my cousins wedding who happens to be a Seahawks season ticket holder and probably won't want to use his tickets that Sunday.

I dont think theres ever been a sb rematch on opening night, not buying that report

I went to the Frankfurt games a few years back. What an awful game, what a horrible city, but we went to Munich after and it was beautiful. Tempted to go were already planning on going to the Madrid games the previous week

I will likely go to KC and Chicago.

Both should be great games and better visit both iconic stadiums before theyre gone.

No way in hell will NE be undefeated on the road this season.

It’s official now

Sick game for the Germans to get, sucks for Lions fans to lose it. So much better than a lot of the slop games the NFL has previously had on the international schedule.

Just as long as they aren't opening against Seattle.
To me I'd rather have them rested before heading out West to play Seattle and then get extra rest after the long trip.

The Pats could otherwise be well on their way to the Las Vegas predicted 9 win season, taking away from the matchup later in the season, while the team's fatigue factor before and after could result in 2 losses.

The NFL wouldn't like that and would maximize ratings with a SB replay as they've done to start the season in the past.

But knowing Goodell he won't want to do us any favors by facing the Seahawks week 1 - in fact they'll probably put our West Coast trip right before or after going to Germany.

10 years ago, Carolina rematched Denver on opening night.

EDIT: FortressX beat me to the punch by a minute.
X,

Personally for me.. I'm embracing the rematch. For the players, coaches to know they are facing the team they were embarrassed against in the superbowl on opening night will be so much more added motivation when guys are tired, sore and just dont have it in camp in the July/August Foxboro heat.. knowing that the first opponent is the Hawks.. IMO

I hate to break it to you but neither Goodell nor the schedule makers are out to screw New England with the schedule.

They are weighing a delicate balance of spreading good games around, the internationals, satisfying 6 networks/streamers, etc.

What time does the full schedule drop?
