Maybe not pats related any more but diggs ended up not guilty

It’s interesting that the Barmore case was thrown out and Diggs was found not guilty. It was like people were trying to cause a distraction for the team.
Welcome to the world of being a public figure. Never tell anyone how much money you have or don't have. The more money you have, the more problems you'll have. Athletes have had their contracts more accessible than ever to the public, so they can't hide it. With the amount of money they are getting these days, it's attracting many sharmuta's and people like the chef. 99% of these women have motives.

Re-watching games from last year, I was once again knocked out by how good Diggs was (as, indeed, were Hollins, Boutte and Douglas (when properly used)). His ability to make clutch catches under pressure for third downs was exceptional.
I said this in the GDT every single week. He was also open way more often than he was targetted.

He may no longer have the speed to be WR1 but he is good enough to be WR2 and first target on 3rd downs.

It didn't backfire yet.

It will have backfired if there is no future out-of-court settlement. As you said, reporting it to the police is a useful step.
Eh...it pretty much did. The entire criminal trial can now be used as evidence in a civil trial.

While normally, the accused would toss a little cash just to make it go away, I'm pretty sure putting that disaster on the record in a civil trial will actually be cheaper than a settlement.

Also, the accuser would need to pay for her own attorneys at this point, she won't have the People of the Commonwealth footing this bill, like she did in the criminal trial. Basically, she threw a hail mary that got batted at the LOS.

Grabbed from Reddit - Gonzo recruiting Diggs back to NE. Rhamondre also commented.

Found "Not Guilty", that means he didn't do it?
Lmfao

I am 100% that he did not slapped her. She says he used his right hand to slap her with his opened palm on the right side of her face. How do you physically do that?
Ok, lets just say she made a mistake on which hand he used.
Diggs is not left handed, so if he slapped her on her right side of her face with his opened palm, then he must have used his left hand. Why will Diggs slap her with his non dominant hand? She wanted a money, seems Cardi was about to start coming around more and whatever her plans were with Diggs was unraveling. Will not be surprised she wanted to be another baby mama and it just did not work out as #7.

Can I have a second is going to be my new go to line now when I am caught in a tough place.

She’s a pos. Let’s hope Diggs can move on.

Pop out.

Of course, you know that Boutte would be traded. There is never a need for 6 WR's, certainly not with that group of 5.
There's zero reason to trade Boutte when he's under contract for next year.
The prospect of 3 WRs on the wrong side of 29 means a cheap guarding against injury would be far more prudent.

The only way this scenario works is if no other team offers what Diggs is looking for.

Buffalo fans would absolutely lose their minds and know they aren't winning the division in the foreseeable future.

Boutte is gone next season.

Contract up and this 4th year is basically the year to prove that he is worth what Doubs is being paid. Right now Boutte has shown that he has stepped up for only 1 season out of 3. Hardly a testament for any compensation higher than a 4th or 5th. As UFA Boutte may yield that Pats a 3rd compensatory pick assuming that the numbers pan out.

Diggs will be 33 and is always skirting trouble. He started last season posting a video of him handing out blow to strippers on a boat in Miami. And while supposedly innocent in this last court case he constantly finds himself in trouble.

They have a lot of fast talented rookies coming to camp, assuming they get AJ Brown, there’s zero reason to spend more on the WR position. And if Philly wants a first round pick, NE should tell them to kick rocks. The best way to find superweapons is to develop them.

Maye could be a factor since he and Diggs really clicked last season. I was very surprised that Diggs did not take a flamethrower to the Pats organization after he was cut.

Dollars will surely be a factor.

If they're trading for Brown, then they would be spending a fortune on 3 wrs. Doesn't seem like good cap management.

If they're not trading for Brown, that's a different story altogether.

I don’t want Diggs back either way.

Go with the youth movement.

But the numbers won't pan out. Boutte will be unlikely to be a major factor for us and therefore will be unlikely to get the big payday when he signs for another team.

The numbers working out on Bouttes new team - Boutte being paid more, Boutte putting up respectable numbers and seeing lots of playing time and NE not signing more UFAs than those who departed.

Pop is gone so a portion of his targets will go to Boutte. This season will determine Bouttes highest value. He and Maye already have chemistry.

I don't see how the numbers will work to bring Diggs back, if AJ Brown comes.

I know it's already dead money, but they ate 9 million to cut Diggs. So how much would they pay him this year?

Cooper Kupp's contract is a good comparison for Diggs current value. They are about the same age, and Diggs is even better. Maybe much better.

How could they make a contract like Kupp's work with AJ Brown here?

I'm fine with keeping Boutte. I just don't think that he is part of our future WR corps.

I expect Brown, Doubs and Hollins to ger the vast majority of reps and receptions. Plus, I would expect the team to continue to develop Williams and giving him as many opportunities as Boutte.

I think that this is fine group for 2026: Brown, Doubs, Hollins, Boutte and Williams. We can have our usual set of UDFA's on the Practice Squad.
