Same exact height, two pound difference, 4.4 speed.

Don't misunderstand me, DeGennaro has a huge uphill climb, he's coming from James Madison... not Georgia. The Pats brought in a bunch of similar guys who failed or languish on the practice squad already like Jeremiah Webb and DeMeer Blankumsee.

I'm not saying he can play football, just that if he fails... a lack of athleticism won't be the excuse.

Not for nothing I love the look of WR Kyle Dixon out of Culver-Stockton also. The kid is huge for one, at 6'3" 220 pounds, good wingspan, ran a respectable 4.5, benched it 15 times, 40.5" vertical, 131" Broad jump and a good 7.05 cone. He is coming from division two... he has a massive uphill battle.

It isn't easy for UDFA's, you have to earn everything you get, and don't get the benefit of the doubt like draft picks.

By the way, just have to say, this is one of my favorite threads of the year, and thank you guys for being all over it, grabbing the info so fast. One of our UDFAs always seem to make the team.

So why did he go undrafted? Just needs to add 20 pounds and he should be physically outstanding.

Exactly that, he's not a road grader. But if you're looking for an athlete at guard who can move, he just might be a good stash on our practice squad.

Well that's 11 more players to look at so far. Add that to our draft class of 9 players and that's 20 new players to try out over the course of the offseason. And that's not even counting anyone we bring in during the June 1st cuts period.
