Don't misunderstand me, DeGennaro has a huge uphill climb, he's coming from James Madison... not Georgia. The Pats brought in a bunch of similar guys who failed or languish on the practice squad already like Jeremiah Webb and DeMeer Blankumsee.
I'm not saying he can play football, just that if he fails... a lack of athleticism won't be the excuse.
Not for nothing I love the look of WR Kyle Dixon out of Culver-Stockton also. The kid is huge for one, at 6'3" 220 pounds, good wingspan, ran a respectable 4.5, benched it 15 times, 40.5" vertical, 131" Broad jump and a good 7.05 cone. He is coming from division two... he has a massive uphill battle.
It isn't easy for UDFA's, you have to earn everything you get, and don't get the benefit of the doubt like draft picks.
