DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft: Day 2

Bills falling into the Josh Allen fixes everything trap, all an elite player like Allen does is gives you a floor where you're going to win 10+ games and be a playoff team 9 times out of 10 with almost any roster.

Soon as you start playing playoff teams though that roster isn't good enough and gets exposed.

I think we're gonna find out they fired the wrong guy, it should have been the GM the coach and QB were covering for his ****y rosters.

The Bills have actually killed it for Trade value and positioning in this draft.

They have played the board absolutely sensationally. I will give them that. Parker at 35 was a solid B-. Last in that tier... but a bit of an over draft. Then again, there was a drop off after him. But their 2nd round pick kills their draft. For those trade downs to make sense they need to also convert and find value in those lower value picks. That one pick made all their well done positioning completely wasted.

They could have settled for Parker (borderline rd1 player) for a consolation in a highly touted 2nd rd pick. Now it seems like they took a lesser player for nothing. They completely erased and invalided all the beautiful work they did earlier with that pick and have made it look like a mistake. They would have been better off now never trading that. That 62nd pick represents a bit more than all the value they managed to acculate. And they blew it. IF they instead took Scott, McCoy, Branch or Pregnon with it they look like geniuses.

Now they look like clowns. As they should. Should have just stood back at the mid 20s and picked a guy.

Yeah, the Byard signing sort of took Safety off the board the first two days, but yeah - I like that kid a lot.
The Bills should have drafted him 2 picks ago instead of Ohio State's 3rd corner.
Safety in the 4th or 5th is still realistic, Byard is on a one year deal. Maybe he stays one more year but not much longer than that.

At #95, I'm looking to trade down 5-10 spots and recoup some mid round picks and then target my favorite TE in the draft....ELI RARIDON. Raridon is the most Gronk like TE in the class. He's 6'6", 250 lbs, he can run, catch, and most importantly for a TE, he's a good blocker. Well rounded. I'm not a fan of calling big WR's TE's.

LETS GO FO......GO GET ME GRONK JR.

There goes Beck

Delp can rotate in with Henry his rookie year as a good blocker & develop his skills as a receiver
Roush enters the NFL as an high level blocker & with his size could be a redzone threat

Either one would make this draft an A

Wow... Branch dropped out of round 2. I know there were a lot of WRs on the board... you need to wonder if that arrest hurt him more than some might think.

There’s some talent there but from interviews I get POS vibes from Beck. Hopefully this isn’t Josh Rosen part 2.

Kiper is a ****. He obviously is tipping the picks. He is probably getting a text of the picks before they are announced so he can look smart. Annoying watching. Switching to NFL Network

Wtf are you talking about? He was very close to BPA and he filled the biggest remaining need.
You always take the guy in that situation.
He hasn't learned that there is no consensus BPA. Its all in the eyes of the beholder. Jaccas was the BPA in my eyes.
