I think you are being delusional if you can’t see how this could spiral to where Vrabel steps away for a while, if he doesn’t actually ending up resigning.

I mean this story is just not stopping. I get this is entirely an off the field matter, not a league rules violation, and not a legal issue. But this is becoming a giant spectacle that just won’t go away.

Would the front office/ownership at some point take measures to save face here? It feels like a terrible idea that would set our franchise back another 5 years, but this has that same momentum of that kind of situation happening.

You have to be Urban Meyer levels of incompetent, as seen in college where he continually fielded great teams so they put up with it. It only became too big of an issue when he had an even more laughable season than Mayo did.

Of course I understand this is a topic of conversation today, and it'll be discussed by opposing fan bases. But I think a lot of people are convincing themselves that so many of those fans truly care about this, when they really dont.

Your head coach isn't going to be there while you draft 70% of your new draftees.

I didn't say it wasn't possible. My implication maybe wasn't all that clear. You're saying last year he wasn't making those decisions but this year you're saying he will he, on zoom, from God knows where. How does that make sense?

But is he really working on his marriage by skipping work to go to whenever it is he's going to if he's really going to be working there instead of doing what it is he went off to do?
