Is Mike’s job security in any danger now? (Vrabel Allegedly Caught Kissing Russini in New Photos 6-Years Ago)

It makes a difference that it could be an innocent photo. I don't doubt they were having an affair. I just think these photos could be taken out of context to make a bad situation worse.

It seems clear that Russini's husband is out to get both of them (even if it is justified). Wouldn't be shocked if this was an innocent meeting just taken out of context. Or it could be more proof of an affair.

If people are going around saying this is proof that the affair has been going on for six plus years, there is a point to stating the pictures could be taken out of context and are innocent.

I mean, dude.

Wow. Other than pictures of them during coitus, what else is there to confirm an affair for you?

I believe they had an affair. I am not in denial.

I have questions about whether photos that magically appear six years after this bar meet are not taken out of context to make them look worse than they already do.

Short of him being a sex predator or rapist he’s not going anywhere. This is the NFL we’re talking about. Cheating on your wife is not a fireable offense.

He’ll survive this. Best thing for him to do is after the draft have another press conference, admit whatever he did, and say he’s going to counselling. Put it to bed. Then we have a few months where the league is off and hopefully everything dies down before training camp starts.

My worry is that he doesn’t admit it and the NY Post holds on to photos and starts releasing them in-season. That’s a distraction we don’t need.

These photos were 6 years ago. She had a 4 year old son named Michael...

I mean, dude.

Again, they could be as appears. And again, these photos could be more recent than six years ago.

I just find it hard to believe that they conducted an affair so in public for six plus years without these coming out.

Nah. He’ll take a public beating for a bit but he’s safe

You are much better off getting in front of the story than letting the NY Post continue to use this ammo.

I don't see any way he gets fired for this directly. It's very much a personal transgression for him, not a professional one.

Depending on his personal reaction to it and what he thinks he needs to work on at home, it's not outlandish that he could step down. It's not absurd to think that a guy who is already set financially would give up his time-demanding job (even one he loves) to spend time at home and work on his relationship with his wife as a matter of priority. So if there is a scenario where he isn't coaching NE next year, I think that's it. Not him getting fired because while embarrassing and frustrating for the organization to have to deal with, this really isn't a fire-able action by itself. If he was a middling coach that didn't have a long history with the owner from his playing days to where there's a good rapport, maybe they'd cut bait not to deal with it, but that's not the case.

It could get him fired from the Vrabel Home.

No chance this causes his termination unless there is a plot twist coming as some others eluded to.

Vrabel the coach and New England Patriots figurehead is laying in the bed he made with all the criticism.

I do feel for Vrabel the man however. Being 'football tough' won't help much here. Hope he gets the help he and his family need in the moment.

I’d also wonder if that scenario would be more of a deal where he takes a year away, with the idea that the job is still his in 2027. Whoever coaches this year is more on an interim, ala Sean Payton 2012 only self imposed.

See, I’m worried therapy will work too well. And he’ll come out of it realizing there’s bigger things in life than football. That it’s not worth cutting off an appendage over.

Why do people keep posting this guy lol
