Aiyuk to me is a dart throw, the biggest problem i have with it is you can't sign him and sell him as a guaranteed serious option to fill a key role.
It might play out that way but you have to sign him with the expectation that he's your 4th option and if he turns back into his old self it's a bonus but you're foolish if you sign him needing him to be a key contributor then it's on you if you get burned.
His first choice is to play with Daniels in Washington. There is also more backstory if you follow Grant Cohn on YouTube. Aiyuk was pretty irritated not getting the ball much despite being open that could’ve changed the game in the 2023 Super Bowl (according to Cohn).
The other was not following Doctors orders in rehab or else it could lead to long term damage.
The last part that questions whether he’s mentally ill is that he agreed to give up he’s $30M guaranteed money. Who does that?
He had attitude issues coming into the league and Vrabel is already dealing with that in Barmore.
the contract sf gave him as a bad contract for that team... he walked out the door with 50 million dollars before getting hurt...His first choice is to play with Daniels in Washington. The draft will tell us a lot. If a DL is taken within the first two rounds, it will tell us it will be Barmore's last season assuming he wasn't traded already. Media has been slowly leaking information giving us clues that his time could be coming to an end. It won't shock me at all if he's traded. His play isn't good enough to put up with his attitude and his contract.I think that they could move Barmore this offseason. And that could open up $$$ to make it easier to trade for Brown. Philly has to move off of their demand for a first to get a deal done, but if he doesn't Roseman is going to end up with a serious issue this summer.
The worst part is NE was willing to pay him $32M per year. And the bizarre twist is that Aiyuk showed up to the facility and told Kyle that he didn't want to go to Pittsburgh. Kyle quickly contacted Lynch to tell him to cancel the trade.the contract sf gave him as a bad contract for that team... he walked out the door with 50 million dollars before getting hurt...
within ten years we will hear his name again... another 100m nfl player going bust...

I watched him a lot in SF before his injury and there wasn't much impressive about him as he looked schemed open a lot. He was good running after the catch though which is something SF has been lacking since his injury.
Explains why they let Tonga walk.I think they may be happy with the guys who were rotating in at the end of last season, as well as the development of Farmer into a starter.
To me the key to next season is going g to be the year 1 to year to year 2 development of all those rookies they kept last season. There are a bunch of young players that we have very little idea of where they are at, but the coaches and front office have a good idea of how they are coming along. If most make a significant jump in play it will really help to move the team forward, if they don't then they have a much bigger job come this time next year.
That and the fact they paid him 2.1 in 2025, and he got 7 this year.Explains why they let Tonga walk.
Patriots in the past overpaid a bunch of jags by having 20- 30 guys on 3-7 million dollar contracts when you could have possibly had them on rookie contracts or vet minimums. That and the fact they paid him 2.1 in 2025, and he got 7 this year.
I'm pretty confident the brass think they can replace him with another 2ishM option, or a later rd pick.
Yes he was good here, but I believe his position as a big space eater is the easiest to fill, and the Chiefs overpaid.
Needless to say, I am NOT convinced.
Brandon Aiyuk would be the Best WR on this Team: speaking behalf of a friend.Has the cult disappeared, or is he really that bad a prospect?
Would he "technically" be on the team if we couldn't find him?Brandon Aiyuk would be the Best WR on this Team: speaking behalf of a friend.
HBH = Home But Hiding.Would he "technically" be on the team if we couldn't find him?
NFL would need to add that new designation to the injury report.HBH = Home But Hiding.
Not a cat in hell's chance. In fact would prefer the devilHellllllll no.
