Luketa was released by the Rams on Feb 3rd. Prior to the end of the league year. That makes him an SFA and able to be signed now..

He's a camp body that spent most of 2025 on the Rams Practice Squad. He saw no Game Day Elevations.

Same as Tonga last year. With rosters in TC being 90 you can be assured that there will be more of these signings

I think Mapu will be moving on regardless and they are a different type of player. I think Swinson should be concerned.

I think that all three are bottom of the roster LB's who would make the team based on their ST play.

Some of these people aren't happy unless they sign the top 4-5 free agents. If they signed Pierce, Jalen Phillips. Tyler Linderbaum and Hendrickson, people here would complain they didn't sign Rasheed Walker.

I think some fans don't think about the roster math.

They have 15 UFA/FA/ERFAs and most of them are bottom of the roster guys. They might bring back 1/2 of that. Maybe.

If they sign and draft players to fill those spots they still need ~20 or so players for the 90 man roster for camp. Of those 20 5 might make the active roster and the remaining 3/4 are cut or on PS.

Luketa is in that bucket.
