Patriots Rumor A.J. Brown trade rumors heat up - Should Patriots get him?

Its so obvious that adding one stud wr is not gonna change fortunes of this offense more.

We stunk in playoffs due to subpar oline play and QB play which regressed due to injury and always looking for the deep pass. I hope Maye takes the leap again this year and the post season was an aberration and not sign of things to come this season. I am cautiously optimistic that Maye will do well.

Stroud was also a stud in his first year and just unraveled over last 2 years.

Agreed. It all hinges on what the team wants to do. Apparently they want Diggs and Phil Perry mentioned he expectations a restructuring.. likely is the guy I'd like.. really believe he could flourish Drake in the offseason.. it's alot of smoke around AJ so there's real possibility to this.

That has alot to do with things.. the organization wants to have that legal situation under resolve to commit beyond this season.. wich is sensible.. saw today on patriots YouTube that the eagles want a player in exchange for AJ and that player could be Barmore...

1) No approval from Diggs is necessary to "restructure" his contract. Overthecap indicate a saving of about $10M through restructuring.

2) When many posters use the word "restructure', they often mean taking a pay cut. That is a different strategy.
