I'm simply asking what was the record of the Patriots and what was the record of the Hawks? Are you saying the Patriots are lucky to have been there?I think your discrediting the Patriots.

Patriots faced 3 AFC elite defensive teams in postseason

Seahawks didn't even have to leave thier division and saw a 9ners team missing ba
-sically all thier starters..
You are certainly free to believe that we were almost as good as the hawks.

I'm not sure that if we played the game 10 times, we would have won twice. But that is my personal belief and anlaysis.

We all have our opinions and that's fine.. but i feel the Patriots were a dam good team in 2025.. would same Darnold have won with this current Patriots offense?

The rams who you also said are better barely beat the Panthers... and like I said the 49ers were missing dam near a NFL roster.. Hawks faced 2 division foes the the rams and Hawks had better overall rosters.. they weren't this superiority to the patriots.. better roster sure.. I'll give u that..

Do you believe if we faced Josh Allen missing cook or some key players in the postseason at home we would have a chance to win? Same difference with Seattle. Any way hat's off to Seattle they won it.

I updated the title because there is a lot of player news for other teams that are not franchise tag related. So I figured I would make this a dumping ground.

Interesting... I'm hoping we should be in This as well.. does he want to go a steelers team with no qb?

I think we should be interested in B Thomas Jr: It's not like we can do better.

The #Patriots are reportedly planning to sign an EDGE rusher in free agency and also select one in the Draft according to
@ChadGraff
There are several options. It's a good year to do it.

Jeremiyah Love at #2 overall? God I hope the Jets do that. Love might not even be the best RB on his team.

Hendrickson would be a short term deal.. trading for Thibiduaux is longer-term investment..

If injuries were as much of a factor as some analysis has suggested, I'd say we're actually much closer, even slightly better. We'd win 6/10.

If injuries weren't a factor as much as some has suggested, then I think you're right.

When I say injuries, I just mean crucial positions being well under 100/90/80%

It's hard to tell but if Campbell was truly still battling his own ankle and Maye's shoulder was hurt, I think the only overrated thing on the field that day would be the Seahawks.

Perhaps we need a poll to see how many agree with you that the 2025 patriots were nearly as good as the rams and seahawks.

To be clear, IMO, if we were in the NFC West, we would have been 4th best record in the division.

I THINK IT IMPORTANT
to recognize who we were and who we are going into the off-season. For me, it damages our likelihood of 2026 success to believe that we were almost good enough to win, and that were as good a team as the rams and hawks.

I don't believe it's a poll discussion. It's a discussion between 2 posters that. Who both make great points.

My position is the 2025 patriots we're the more impressive given thier unfinished roster and and elite young QB. They didn't get to the superbowl by luck. I'm arguing that In 2025 yes there were a good team. Good enough to beat 3 elite defensive teams en route to the superbowl.

I'll remind you that that rams had an all pro beast at WR in Nuca

Seattle has JSN who led the league in receiving.
