2026 Draft: EDGE

In my mind the Edge rushers are in 3 groups:
Pipe Dream:
Bain, Reese, Bailey, Faulk

Could be there at 31/bit of trade up:
Howell, Mesidor, Parker

Trade down a bit:
Thomas, Young, Jacas, Josephs

I’ll re-evaluate this list tonight and tomorrow

I'm curious how many 3 DL sets the Pats ran last year outside of Goal-line situations.. I don't think it was very many..
I don't think he'll be here for us, but when you've got such an outlier like that, sometimes you just need to go BPA and work it our later. I actually like the idea of us going 3-4 1-gap.

My point was that the Pats ran more 2 DT / 2 Edge / 2 LB sets than they did traditional 3-4 or 4-3..

And I do understand about adding someone like Banks.. The bigger question is would Vrabel change their base to accommodate it or just continue to run just 2 DL out there most of the time.. I mean, being able to run Williams or Barmore out as one of the "Edge" guys would certainly make things harder for opposing teams. I just don't know if Vrabel would do that.

He definitely ran some 3 DL looks and it would certainly help with rotations. Imagine your second line being Banks-Durden.

Whether it's Banks- Durden or Banks-Farmer, or another combination, it definitely improves things.

I'm not sure they can afford to do that with the other issues on defense and with the O-line.

I don't think it will be an issue however. He'll go too high I suspect.

Hmm.... Hopefully Vrabel doesn't make a similar mistake that haunted BB when it came to Florida Edge rushers..
Reference to the Cunningham over Dunlap debacle?

Dunlap was the better prospect, BB outsmarted himself.

Early RAS not including shuttle and 3-cone. I'll only include over 9.00 for now.

Crawford didn't test so he's included, presumably, for his on-field drills which looked terrific.
