$79 million is what they have to pay him (meaning under the cap) if they keep him long term, dipshit. They can get rid of roughly $50 million of that by trading him, dipshit. You're the one arguing that trading him is not cap friendly.
I never... not once.... said (or believed) trades are the same as cuts. You're just a lying piece of **** at this point.
You've done 3 things in this thread:
1) Post a graphic which 100% supported my after-June-1 salary cap statements (thank you for proving my calculations were 100% spot on, by the way)
2) Made the moronic statement that it would be cap prohibitive for the Eagles to trade Brown (which I proved wrong)
2) Made the moronic statement that the Patriots, for reasons known but to God, would never engage in a post June 1 trade (which I proved wrong)
Take the L and move on.
Absolutely nothing I have said is wrong. You can repeat yourself all you want. You are still wrong and your post is stupid.

You’re just too stupid to realize that your own graphic backs me up 100%.
That applies to every receiver on the roster that wears shoes. We should move on from digs then. I forgot he was even on the team once the postseason started.
Drake connection London callingGosh, I hope not. I like our receiver room. They're underrated but they rarely ever drop passes. Boutte has improved dramatically each year. He can be a 1000+ yard guy with 10+ TD's. If Kyle Williams and Chism can improve as much as he did from yr 1 to yr 2, this will be an exciting group.
AJ was a headache for Philly. He pouts when he doesn't get 7+ catches and I saw a lot of drops in the few Eagles games I watched. I want Maye to keep spreading the ball around to the open guy. It would be bad for his development to have a diva receiver pouting when he doesn't get the ball as much as he wants and then drops as many as AJ does. I'd prefer we look in other directions. Drake London is the guy I'm dreaming about. Atlanta exercised his 5th yr option for 2026 so he's not a free agent until next year. If I'm going to trade for a guy, he's the one. Imagine a Drake to Drake connection.
I consider that the key. Just because he isn’t happy in Philly doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be happy here. By all accounts, his relationship with Vrabel is a good one.I'm for it. If Vrabel isn't bothered by his personality then I'm not either.
Dude has turned into a cancer.
hmm "making Pop expendable"Pierce would be a star in NE. I think he'd either take over Hollins' role and allow Diggs to work completely in the slot (making Pop expendable). And letting Boutte & Williams be Z's with occasional X duties. Chism would back up Diggs 1 more year before turning into Edelman
If McDaniels and Drake don’t make the slot position relevant it won’t matter who plays there.hmm "making Pop expendable"
Pop is already expendable.
We have a good 4-man WR corps plus a reasonable prospect in Chism.
Pops can be replaced by whoever Vrabel can find, during free agency, the draft, or even after the draft.
Certainly fits what any reasonable observer would say (which never means it can't be wrong, of course.) We all know all the stuff is connected to all the other stuff, but what I never see is a breakdown saying that we have a plague of drops. From there you ask, 'Well can our guys get open?" Raise your hand if you've noticed guys open not getting the look, or open but Drake thought the ball needed one more pat. From there, I'm asking how much time he got? how much time he need? And we're back to the trenches.I don't think that we are spending a lot on any position but the OL and EDGE rushers.

That being said, I think that we can sign a free agent WR who will be more valuable to the team than Douglas. A minor trade could work also.
