************ I had to turn that off after a few minutes. Seattle sent 6 so many times. So many easy completions for 8-15 yards. Maye was just gambling. Really hard to watch.
You sure that was Drake Maye?? AI is very deceptive Today.

Watch he video, he wasn't running for his life until he created that environment. Lots of 2-3 steps drop ball out kind of things. He missed almost all of them. He had guys WIDE open for massive gains and never saw them. Diggs is clapping for the ball in one of them he was so open. Very rough look for him. It's much worse than I thought,
No doubt Maye played into the disfunction and was not himself. That said you can't ignore the number of times that defenders were in the backfield immediately with no chance of making the play. If you factor in the pounding that Maye has taken in every playoff game, it isn't surprising that he lost the plot in that game. If his shoulder was the source of the accuracy issues that would also contribute overwhelming his mental processing. One bad game does not undo the progress he made this season.

Seattle basically said “we are going to blitz 6 and give you 5 on 5 until you make us pay for it btw PS: you won’t because you like to gamble” and was right. Good god. What an awfully simple way to lose the most important game of the year.

That pounding is partially on Maye. It’s like he purposely chose not to see anything less than 20 yards down field.

You remember Rams QB Jim Everett after a few hits?? He turned into Chris Everett Lloyd.

Stafford had no problems carving that Rams Defense: and we thought Maye deserved the MVP. Hard to believe the runner up was on the Field last night.

As I suspected there was plenty of meat on the bone, Maye just didn't A) see it or B) refused to throw it short or C) has no idea how to decipher NFL zones.

Might have changed the game.

Also want to add that you have this video on a timestamp about 1/3 in. People should watch from the start. He goes over the blitzes and shows wide open guys that Maye should have thrown to to beat the blitz.

Maye turned into Rob Johnson.

Yep. Nobody should defend him in this game now. Nobody.

Maybe PTSD from all the Hits he took in the Playoffs leading up to the SB.

How much you want to be the hit were mostly caused by him? How many times in the playoffs were guys wide open and he either saw them or didn't.

it's quite concerning going forward. I hope they will coach the every living **** out of him.

I watched that whole game on all 22 before the Super Bowl and they had absolutely no pressure on Stafford for the entire game
I think when I looked, it was Seattle’s season low number of pressures for any game. Gave me hope the Patriots line could hold up, but that was false. Hope.

Apparently according to Devon Witherspoon, the Pats offensive line had a tell based on alignment that the Seattle coaching staff picked up on, allowing the players to exploit it.

Shows how important it is to have Elite WR's like Puka and Adams.

Stafford also has a ton of experience, played the Seahawks twice during the season and throws to elite receivers. As bad as Maye was, it is not reasonable to use Stafford's performance as proof that the Pats need a new QB.

Sorry the Defense did: the regular season Maye is on a milk carton somewhere.

Not that anybody cares, but here's my contribution to this thread: You and your ilk are a bunch of assholes with worse executive function than my kindergartner. When Maye is lighting teams up again next year, I don't want to hear a peep of you.

So he had no hand in the offenses dismal performance yesterday?

This is why I didn't scream robbery when Stafford won. It was a close race.
