Because everything I've heard is terrible
Nothing More, I Prevail are a couple newer bands. Shinedown is still putting out good stuff. There’s new stuff, but you gotta look for it.

I would probably just give it to them at the 35 tbh. Guy is so fast, he will 90% most likely get to at least the 30 regardless and then if you slip up, he scores. Not worth 5 yards.
I agree do not test your manhood buy kicking to them, kick it in the endzone and on punts sacrifice distance for no return, I know that will enrage certain people here, it’s smart football.

Definitely kick it in the endzone on the opening kickoff. Learn from what happened to San Fran. It is not worth the risk of having a good return immediately set the tone for the game.

Don't look at the Patriots SB record on NBC. 1-3

Is this a big loss? I don't know much about him
None of the past history means a thing, on or off the field.

I'm just thrilled to be here.

Of course it's better to open with a TD, but plenty of teams bounce back.

My nerves would like to see a Pats blowout but that's not likely. I'll go with the popular choice of Pats 24-20.

The halftime show and commercials are the only pop culture aspects of the Superbowl and the people who watch the halftime show intently are watching it because of that. So relevance is really the whole point.
It's the only reason my son and his wife and daughter watch.

Building the Seagulls really sounds like watching the Brad Pitt/Jonah Hill scout meeting scene in Moneyball. Not great guys, right guys.

I probably won't have been absolutely DONE with Football if we had lost that game: after those Giants heartbreakers.
But the funny thing is that they didn't lose because Butler instead made the best defensive play in SB history.

And here they are again. One more 8 hour shift and we're there.

Amazing.

Forg

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is an amoeba defense??
Essentially it's an amorphous front seven alignment. It causes confusion on the offensive line and makes it difficult for QBs to line up protections because you can have any number of defenders in two or three/four point stances. Very difficult to predict who's doing what.

Completely convinced the story of tomorrow is going to be that our defense did much better against their offense than their defense will against our offense. And I think their defense is going to play very well and be a real challenge. It's just that our defense is going to come in with a chip on their shoulder and is going to reintroduce some spectres of the past to The Darnold.

* Chaisson is going to get a sack because their RB can't block anywhere near as well as the one who is out.

* If our D plays how I expect, Marcus Jones and Woodson are going to get their shots at INTs.

* Our ability to stop the run means they're gonna get into 3rd and 6+ more than they like and they aren't gonna convert much.
It’s going to come down to special teams.

My short take

If we win it will be because of Maye and the D

If we lose it will be because of the interior OL
Hmmmm...

If we lose it's because our DBs struggled with JSN.

The OL/DL thing is what it is. Both DLs will dominate the opposing OLs. I expect equal pressure and equal run stopping from the DLs.

Regarding all the halftime show talk - I would have hoped that by now folks would have realized that the artist choices are not chosen based on the tastes of who is watching the game; they are chosen to capture the attention of a wider audience that would otherwise probably not tune in at all. They want that extra group to tune in for a little while, boost their viewer count higher, and get some extra advertising money. Catering the artist to the tastes of people who would be watching regardless does nothing for their bottom line, which is their primary concern, unfortunately.

It’s absolutely not my cup of tea either, I’ll probably mute it, but I’m not gonna get mad about it. I’ve come to terms with it for many years now.
The half time show music performance is like 10 minutes. People have wasted hours whining about it.

We’re up to 64 pages at 11 am on a “pregame thread”! Cripes, you could combine the Colts Fans “Game Threads” for the SEASON and it may not reach 64! And to think we were once known as a Baseball town!!
