I just listened to Bad Bunny's most popular songs. I have no idea who's actually listening to his music. He makes Sean Paul and Ricky Martin of my generation tolerable. Tomorrow's halftime show is going to be a disaster. You'll have the woke media gaslight you by praising it, but it will get trashed to most people watching - mostly people 30 years and over.
He's the most streamed male artist in the history of Spotify and was the most streamed artist overall in 2025. I'm not a fan of his either, but you're simply being obtuse for the sake of slamming your perception of "woke."

Also, I was born in 1984 and I'm here to tell you that Sean Paul was awesome. Get Busy is one of the greatest club songs of all time. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's not good.

Let's not forget about field position with these kickoffs and getting the ball at the 35. Beware shaheed. Kick to him or give it to them at the 35?
I would probably just give it to them at the 35 tbh. Guy is so fast, he will 90% most likely get to at least the 30 regardless and then if you slip up, he scores. Not worth 5 yards.

Yep and Mrs RW wore her older-than-dirt blue NEP hoodie at the same time.
My Seymour, Welker, and Bruschi Jersey's have been hanging in the closet, unworn. for years.

I started off wearing one of the two "Just Do it" shirts during the Broncos game and actually took it off..

I think I'll stick to wearing something Patriotic and break the hat out if they win..

Though I have been sporting the "Play-off beard" since before Thanksgiving while keeping it trimmed, but not touching it on Game Day.

Regarding all the halftime show talk - I would have hoped that by now folks would have realized that the artist choices are not chosen based on the tastes of who is watching the game; they are chosen to capture the attention of a wider audience that would otherwise probably not tune in at all. They want that extra group to tune in for a little while, boost their viewer count higher, and get some extra advertising money. Catering the artist to the tastes of people who would be watching regardless does nothing for their bottom line, which is their primary concern, unfortunately.

It’s absolutely not my cup of tea either, I’ll probably mute it, but I’m not gonna get mad about it. I’ve come to terms with it for many years now.

A lot of people are not happy if they are not mad and *****ing about something

I watched one halftime show ever and it was to check out Eminem because the Patriots were in a half decade lull.

The amount of people who watches these things are incredibly low and the outrage over it is fabricated from the top to bottom on these people's algorithms.

No one is stopping anyone from jamming out to kid rocks half time show about underage banging fantasies.

The Patriots are 3-0 against NFC West opponents in the Super Bowl.

2002 win vs. Rams in 36
2015 win vs. Seahawks in 49
2019 win vs. Rams in 53

Seahawks could make it 4-0.

The halftime show and commercials are the only pop culture aspects of the Superbowl and the people who watch the halftime show intently are watching it because of that. So relevance is really the whole point.

Of all the things to get upset over, a 10 minute 3 song music performance seems minor at best.
I am saving all of my anger for when Drake misses a wide open pass, someone drop a ball, we do not get pressure on every snap even though that is unrealistic, Gonzo allows JSN to catch a ball, McD makes a bad playcall or any number of things that I will get irrationally upset with.

Back to the game at hand. How do the Pats avoid a start like they had in Denver? 3 and outs, passes on 3rd short of the sticks and general offensive ineptitude before the weather was terrible.

Do...not that.

I’m not feeling overly confident. It’s not that Seattle is as good as they are suddenly making it seem. Rather, the sputtering O does alarm me. Who’ll make a play when NE needs it ? I mean - if i were to guess tonight, I’d likely say Hollins or Rham (who’s been an absolute beast recently). Maybe Maye on the run.

The D, while exceptional in the playoffs might have a difficult time with a few of those receivers. JSN in particular.

I would be truly thrilled with a victory on Sunday to cap off what has been nothing short of a dream season. But I don’t think it’ll be easy.
