Brady is the goat but FU

seriously, **** brady for this ********. i don't give a **** about your Raiders, your new head coach. Brady could've easily said something like "I don't have a dog in the fight BUT i won't be upset if the team in Foxboro wins" or something like that. ****ing fraud. Does anyone remember deflategate? when we all went to bat for him? when most of us told kraft to **** himself for giving in for the "good of the 32"? Brady is and always has been a ****ing fraud as a person. Hocking $80 vegan protein and $25 bags of nuts, preaching about health, pliability, etc and now you're doing pizza hut commercials. **** you tom. Willing to bet most of the people on PatsFans turning a blind eye to Brady's comments and dismissing his fanbase of 20+ years are not from New England and they are pats fans who "picked" the Pats as "their" team when they were playing Madden and liked throwing Hail Mary's to Randy Moss.
I cannot wait for Brady to do a Fox game at Gillette next year so everyone can give him a piece of their mind.
Clown post of the year right here!

My only wish is that none of PEDton's cooties rub off on Maye.
I was thinking he is the wrong guy to give pointers about performing in the playoffs.

It's totally OK for any Patriots fan who cheered for Brady through 20 years here to feel "sensitive" over his current indifference toward the team that enabled his storied legacy. Tom's kind of a lost soul these days.
We did have a hand in that. We chose to kick him to the curb when we should have treated him much better. I remember some many on here saying they only care about players who play for Pats. Hypocrisy of fans always amuses me.

It hurts a bit that he said this. I think and hope it is to do with Raiders ownership/hiring Hawks OC + being a broadcaster and not because he is still salty about how things ended.

Other than my momentary annoyance at him. My feelings about him do not change. But you have some clowns in this thread insulting and berating him. That part is not ok.

As far as I remember Brady made a conscious choice to leave, even sold his Boston residence in the offseason before leaving.

How exactly should we have treated him better, the guy has a STATUE in front of our stadium!!!

That actually would make a lot of sense as he is part owner of the Raiders, can't expect him to mentor players from other teams.
Yup and we all saw the backlash from fans and the media when he was in the Raiders booth.

Name them!

Just go to the Gronkaneers thread
For a good laugh at the hypocrisy

Brady gave everything to this franchise for two whole decades. We as fans got back more than we could have ever dreamed of. As far as him leaving for the Bucs, his game against the Pats in 2021 was the first and last time I ever rooted for Brady to lose. I love the Pats but I don't root for just laundry, I appreciate the players. That appreciation doesn't go away when they leave. I wanted Brady to continue to add to his legacy even if it was elswhere, and guess what? He did what he does best and that was take down Mahomes' Chiefs in the playoffs (once in the AFCCG, once in the Super Bowl).

People have the right to feel however way they want to feel. Me personally, I'm a little disappointed but not upset at Brady riding the fence with his response. He's in a no-win situation, he's either a homer or a traitor. Let's be real here: Brady's got nothing but love for Vrabel. But he also was the driving force in getting Kubiak to come to Las Vegas, he'll be happy for him too. Where Brady went wrong is not only does he have a dog in this fight, he has a dog on both sides of this fight. And that may not be something Pats fans want to hear but it's the truth.

I love guys like Wilfork and Spillane sticking up for us. I love them for it. But nobody can get me to hate Brady. He's meant too much to this community for too long for that to all go away because he's playing it safe in the media. Again, I can't tell anyone else how they're supposed to feel. Everyone's personal experiences are different and their values are shaped by those experiences. I choose not to be upset by this. I'm more happy that our team is in the Super Bowl again.

Meh, he owns a part of the Raiders who will be hiring Seattle’s OC in a few days.

Wilfork and Spillane called him out, LOL.

I don’t care…I love me TB12, but he has not thrown a pass for the Patriots in SIX YEARS and counting….

I can't.
It's fascinating what people claim to care about sometimes.

Why anyone cares about what Brady thinks about anything other than throwing a football or reading a defense is beyond me.
I said it earlier in the thread but I miss the days we used to cheer for Brady and Belichick

I've always loved Tom Brady like I've loved Yaz, Johnny Bucyk, Bill Russell, Havlicek, Bobby Orr and Larry Bird. I mean he's the best.
Didn't throw teammates under the bus like Payton. Rewrote the contracts. Always said the right thing. And maybe he's been out of the refrigerator a bit too long. Some of his stuff is a little weird. And yes there's his connection to Tampa, Fox, and the Raiders, but the cryptic remarks have been going on for a while. Maybe he's a little scared and/or jealous of Drake Maye?

A statue that WAS EARNED
No question about that, he earned that statue with 20 years of unmatched greatness that we were all privileged to watch.

As a 33 year Patriots diehard, and there are millions of me in NE, we earned the right to Brady's admiration, at least a little bit of it...but we will get none.

I rooted for Brady in Tampa. I sure as hell rooted for them in the Super Bowl. Here’s my response to anyone trying to tell someone else how to be a fan.

Highly doubt he’s scared or jealous of Maye

Willfork can call out Brady. Spillane though can bang his head against nearest wall if he does not like it. Otherwise, he just needs to shut up about anything Brady says.

I enjoyed every Pats game he played in that did not conflict with Pats schedule which was most.
