Helpful! Darnold is at 63% completion rate this season however and we're comparing apples to oranges with different teams and D - but we can probably expect something around that 60% completion rate.

And of course this doesn't factor in that Seattle has the best D in the NFL either.

That being said we've seen Seattle give up 27 points to the Rams so I think the Pats can do that too.

How good will the Pats D be? They've looked pretty good to me and will be up to the task.
If the D gets a pick six (easier said than done) and another turnover, that would give the Patriots a great chance to win. The offense and/or ST's needs to find a way to get to 21.

This is a game where they should take. the ball first if they win the toss.

Just remember, this might be Maye’s only chance at a championship. We don’t know if he’ll ever be back. I’ve been saying it all year but I’ll say it one more time. This is the year.
Marino is a perfect example. Got there and lost. Never got back. Next year will be much tougher with the schedule and KC & Baltimore likely being elite again.

If McDaniels has any trick plays up his sleeve, this is the game to showcase it. If Vrabel has ny plans of a fake punt, do it in this game is everything aligns.

Just let it all rip. Win, lose or whatever. The dynasty made us think we’d always be back but that isn’t true. Sure, there’s a chance we will but can’t take that chance. If Maye wins this one and ends up being the only one he wins, he’ll still be a legend in NE.

This team is arguably better overall for this era than the 2001 team while the Seahawks are not in the same universe as the 2001 Rams. Darnold will give the Pats a couple throws that can be picks. Pats secondary will have to capitalize. I have a feeling this could be a low scoring boring game similar to 2018.

With that said, Pats offense seriously has to wake up. That’s my biggest concern.

It's about time I hear from @SHOWTIME15. PM me, I've got some questions for you.

I think it’ll be a tight game so I’m in the 50/50 club. I think Darnold will be a bit anxious and if the Pats can get to him a few times, he might get rattled and lose confidence. JSN is a monster, though, and he’ll get his yards most likely. I think it will mostly come down to Maye and how he handles the game. No turnovers means they’ll have a great shot, imo. Both teams have good kickers, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see the outcome hinge on a 50+ yard FG.

Unless the defense turns into the 85 Bears, the offense needs to score TD's without any turnovers. Question is how do they turn it around (x's and o's) and be who they were during the season?
Turns into? Have you watched them in the postseason at all? 3, 16, and 7 points, and most of that 16 was short fields.

60-40 in favor of Patriots. I could get into every tit for tat category. In the end we are both good teams or we wouldn’t both be here. We are so close in team stats. They may look better on paper. That wins ****

This whole chemistry and playing for the guy next to you thing the Patriots have going is where I think the game will be won. Someone always steps up and makes a play. Why would I think it changes now. “We all we got, We all we need” is like pissing off that neighborhood family of tight brothers. They will all bundle you like pack of dogs and the sister will even join in. GO PATS

Compared to what? Those ridiculous weather games against great defenses?
Just trying to get a grip on the way people are looking at it.

Thanks

Everything will have to break right for KC to get back to elite status next year. You got a QB coming back from a major knee injury plus they’re projected 60 mil over the cap.

Their window is closing. Both their QBs have a lot of mileage on the tread.

True. And Lamar was pretty beat up this season too. Add in Josh Allen coming back from foot surgery and the AFC does not have a strong well entrenched group of incumbents. As long as Drake Maye’s shoulder isn’t as bad as those old guys injuries the Pats should have a good shot at remaining competitive.

First time since Superbowl 36 I haven't felt anxious or anything of that nature pretty chill
confidence wise a 7

Any last minute stragglers?
