So the thin air advantage for Broncos opponents is not enough?

Does that mean we'll have the "Pop-Tart AFC Wild Card Round"?They probably just want more corporate money to run it like two Superbowls. Just like the college playoff system
It hadn’t already been discussed due to weather, it has been discussed as a way to make more money. 3 SB-like events rather then 1. It will turn into a farce like SB week has. What nonsense...
Don't be shocked. They'll probably have one in New Orleans and the rose bowl. It's all about greedDoes that mean we'll have the "Pop-Tart AFC Wild Card Round"?
I wouldn’t be surprised to see them have the CCGs at the SB site and make it a 2 week event. They would do the bye week between ccg and SB.Does that mean we'll have the "Pop-Tart AFC Wild Card Round"?
If there is more money/revenues involved, the league will consider it with great interest.I wouldn’t be surprised to see them have the CCGs at the SB site and make it a 2 week event. They would do the bye week between ccg and SB.
That way they can add an 7th playoff team and have 8 wc games and no bye.
But of course they should, making money is the reason they exist. If there is more money/revenues involved, the league will consider it with great interest.
Thats what it is all about. The Pats won. In Denver. Bad weather doesn't faze them like it would for 3/4 of the AFC teams. Can you imagine Houston, Jax, Indy, etc etc playing in those conditions? The Patriots won. Dis not fair!

Bill Polian's back I guess.
We already have that, or did you not noticed how WC weekend was brought to us by Quicken Turbotax?Does that mean we'll have the "Pop-Tart AFC Wild Card Round"?
Correct. They have been talking about having the conference championship games at a neutral site for a while now. New Orleans? Miami? Vegas? LA? All in play for the AFCCG.It hadn’t already been discussed due to weather, it has been discussed as a way to make more money. 3 SB-like events rather then 1. It will turn into a farce like SB week has.
I would imagine if they do this, it will also include adding an 8th playoff team, eliminating the bye and adding a bye week between the divisional and CCG so SB teams will play twice in a month.
If there are more ways to ruin it, they will do that too.
Why weren’t these changes suggested when the Pats couldn’t win in Denver? That’s a gracious take, I can’t get to the same level. To me, conditions are part of the game and whichever team preps best for the weather, has a well deserved edge.
I think a change like the one proposed may have been the result of certain bets not being won because both teams modified their approaches to adapt.
Yet another terrible idea.Correct. They have been talking about having the conference championship games at a neutral site for a while now. New Orleans? Miami? Vegas? LA? All in play for the AFCCG.
