I feel like if the Defense can force Darnold into an early mistake with a pick or a sack fumble he will be rattled and fall apart. Both of their playoff games were against teams within his division so there’s that comfort level. Let’s see how he plays against the hottest defense throughout the entire playoffs.

For JSN its NOT his soeed. Its his route running that makes him great
And his hands.

JSN has a 73% regular season catch rate. He has 163 regular season targets which is more than double of the next Seattle receiver Cooper Kupp @ 70 targets. In the 2025 post season, JSN leads with 16 targets and a 81% catch rate followed by Kupp with 11 targets and a 81% catch rate.

It is so crucial to catch 2 out 3 passes - 66% catch rate vs catching 2 out of 4 passes - 50% catch rate. It seems like an insignificant difference, but its not. A factor in the Pats success is that the NE receiver's catch the ball in the 66% range and higher. Kyle Williams is the only NE receiver to be sub 66% @ a 47% catch rate. But, that is usually the norm for WRs of his caliber because deep passes are typically low % completions.

The bad news for Seattle is that # 1 the NE pass defense is much better than SF or LAR and # 2 if Maye thaws out and gets rolling again , NE will be scoring passing TDs and maybe even an air strike to William's.

I don't have any affiliation with these guys but love the thought.

This is the first Super Bowl since the merger where both teams rank in the top 4 in scoring offense and defense.

Seahawks: #3 offense, #1 defense
Patriots: #2 offense, #4 defense

Only the third with both in the top 5 after 1978 Cowboys-Steelers and 2017 Eagles-Patriots.

The Seahawks allowed 640 reception yards to RBs this season, which ranked 27th in the NFL.

They play two-high coverage at the highest rate, so there's room underneath. Rham & Hendo should eat. I’d really love to see JMD get Hendo in space.

The team whose QB turns the ball over the most will lose.

Unless both of them play mistake free.

Then who really knows?

By the way, Seattle SeaGulls do not taste like chicken.

They taste terrible...
