JETS SUCK 2025 EDITION (OFFICIAL): DIVINE INTERVENTION DENIED

Not to tell an artist like Tune how to do his job, but I strongly, strongly feel if he’s actually not getting fired and this isn’t just a tease, name of next years thread should be:

JETS SUCK 2026 EDITION: IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED, TRY, TRY A. GLENN

Because Glenn’s been a gift to Pats fans and he won’t be around forever.

But ya know, Tune you’re the expert

Thanks, but I'm no expert. Just a grudging custodian of this place in honor of dearly departed Joker and all self-respecting souls who value good hygiene.

One of the funniest aspects of this season is that the NYJ couldn’t even take advantage of the down years…. They kept being awful while NE was struggling & now the final eight game is in Foxborough, while the NYC get spurned by athletes and coaches.

It's funny how they look at turn-arounds such as the Commanders two seasons ago and us this season and say "that could be us!" when everyone else immediately thinks "it won't be da Jete". They'll **** it up some how. Last year, signing Justin Fields knowing that Rodgers was a better QB but they burnt that bridge. Two years before signing Rodgers thinking that they were just one player away from being good, but then their **** OL got Rodgers injured so they were not just one player away from being good. SOFJ. Your lot is to suffer, Jete fans!

Posters here who weren't around for the Joker Era are like fans of comedy who never saw Carlin or Pryor in their prime, setting the standard on which all the current ones stand.

What would be worse for Jets fans; The Patriots winning another Super Bowl or Darnold winning a Super Bowl?

I was leaning towards the Patriots winning, but then I realized the real answer was within the question itself. The worst thing is that they’re Jets fans.

I missed this anniversary a few weeks ago.
Oh well, better late than never.

Dec 20, 2003; Patriots win 21-16 in New Jersey.
The highlight was this halftime interview:

Jete ownership habitually focuses on collecting talent vs. team building. They have a boatload of high draft picks in the next couple years, we'll see what happens.

It's not really even the talent-collecting thing; it's what happens to it once it enters the building off exit-16W... It's like Legionnaire's Disease, only one contracts it going inside in this case...

Reminds me of a skit on Monty Python's Flying Circus about someone trying to come-up with a proper insult for Belgians...

People Who Go In That Locker Room Come Out…Different,’ Jets Custodian Warns Aaron Glenn

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Speaking grimly as he mopped the floor beneath flickering fluorescent lights, longtime MetLife Stadium custodian Keith Browning reportedly approached first year New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn Friday and warned him that “people who go in that locker room come out…different.” “You be careful in there, Coach—I’ve seen a lot of good men walk into that locker room with big dreams only to come out broken, no light in their eyes…ghosts of who they once were,” said Browning, who suddenly paused as an eerie sobbing sound echoed through the ceiling vents, and then whispered, “That’s Gase—no one’s seen him since the 2-14 season…but you can still hear him.” “Things die in that room, Coach. Hopes, game plans, careers. You see a young core, you think maybe this time it’ll be different. But it won’t. It starts with a couple blown double-digit leads. Then it’s week five and you’re up on the podium praising ‘the fight in the guys’ after a 30-7 loss. Then, next thing you know, your DC’s gone rogue, Trevor Siemian is under center again, and you’re throwing challenge flags you don’t remember holding. Everyone thinks they can fix this team, but they can’t. You can only survive it…if you’re lucky.” At press time, Browning was said to have handed Glenn a laminated play sheet with the word “RUN!” scrawled in red over the formations.

Onion article I saw on jet forums.

At this point, when it comes to the Jete, it feels like kicking a man when he is down... if this was a scholastic sporting event the game would've already been called under the mercy rule... There is literally nothing that organization does that is competent.

Then I say “kick away”. This is the type of team that one should not show mercy.

The london jets! Hey it could happen... Woody could make a massive stadium for Crystal Palace and the Jets... and then he wouldn't have to be bothered by those pesky new yorkers.

When the raiders moved a lot of Californians are close enough by (and of course Nevada residents) that it still maintained a fan base.

If the jets go to Europe... I see not one new Yorker going with em.

Another abysmal year, and Roger might be able to strong arm Woody into either moving or selling the team...

This could be the season that breaks the jets so hard they move to another continent!

The Onion is such an inspiration. My organization does newsletters as a service. Thinking about grabbing the workflow and creating a Da Jete newsletter, with a combination of real and fake news. Normally, that's an ethical line I won't cross, but nobody can really tell the difference for Jete News, and there's no space left between Jete reality and sarcasm.

The Brits are more selective than that in their import policy.

I’m on a Jazz cruise this - I’ll be stuck watching the game today on a boat in the waters off of Cuba - and our toilet in our state room is labeled Jets. How appropriate!

Blue monday for jest fans i'm sure after their mortal enemy is going to the super bowl ...again, after a relatively short break. The jest do have a lot of picks this year so they can look at winning the draft bowl as compensation

Jete fans have checked out of the NFL weeks and weeks ago. I would say they are taking time off to forget the past and pretend this season didn't happen so they can put on the rose colored glasses next season, but to be honest they really can't put together any scenario where they will be good next season. Lots of draft choices but not the #1 overall in a one-QB draft. Owner too cheap to fire what is clearly a guy in over his head. No plausible FA that can come in at QB. Basically they get to eat yet another **** sandwich next season.
