Apparently the media has decided already to give the Seahawks the win. Pats can’t beat them, think I heard that in 2001.

Heard it in 2014 too. In fact it's been said many times leading up to Championship games, and has been proven wrong many times in Championship games. The Seahawks are a good team, they aren't unbeatable. Drake Maye VS Sam Darnold, I'll take Drake Maye.

From what I could tell it looked like our receivers were blanketed in man coverage against Denver.

Tough game for Maye. He took sacks, but didn't turn the ball over.

I was disappointed that they didn't attempt to use Williams on the deep routes. Also that they didn't try to get Williams or Henderson lined up in space. I really wish that Josh would use the quick slants more. Also the short out routes that Edelman used to kill teams with. Diggs would be fantastic with that.

Yep. 2014. NE can’t stop a mobile QB. Our receivers can’t get separation. The Legion of Boom this, the Legion of Boom that, Beast Mode ….

I think Maye will play well. His OL will not have AS hard of a time, he will have all his WRs healthy, and he will be playing in nice warm weather in SoCal on a neutral field. McDaniels will have two weeks to come up with the perfect plan and prep Maye.

No sure how really neutral it will be. Hawks fans travel in masses when they make it to the big game. Last time, Cardinals stadium was as loud as Century Link.

Greatest Show on Turf, they have absolutely no chance.

Sam Darnold is going to carrying some heavy weight as big time favorites to win the Super Bowl, I don't believe he's got the head for that. Put Gonzalez on JSN and send in the ghosts. Sam will certainly remember them.

seems people outside of here are talking about this SB as a foregone conclusion. I'm hearing the exact same pre-game chatter about a blowout. just like 2001 (NE-STL) and 2007 (NE-NYG)
Pats defense is an equal matchup to the Seahawks offense. We may even have an edge given how we have been playing.

I think our offense versus their defense will be the real deciding factor.

I thought the spread would be bigger. I don't know a lot about Seattle. I saw the SF blowout and they looked fast and powerful. That said, I think our defense can stop the run. Let's see how our secondary can handle their wideouts. Defensive game planning has been good the end of the season. Need one more good one. The one thing we need to do differently is to have Drake sling the ball. No holding back, no playing safe. Ball out. Threw short to Boutte a couple times yesterday, missed somebody going right to left in the end zone, don't know who it was. He pulled it down and got sacked. See color, throw ball.

Diggs has been playing with a broken finger.

The Seahawks are a better matchup for Pats than the Rams are on both sides of the ball.

It will be interesting to see if Darnold can exercise his demons playing against the Pats who gave him trouble early in his career. I hope the Pats continue their blitz heavy scheme and force him to think quickly.

Slow JSN down and it will force the rest of the team to beat you. Brady said last night the Rams secondary isn't good enough to play man.

Pats have a good run D to slow down Seattle's run game.

Unless the Pats defense plays lights out, Maye and the passing game has to come to life.

Rham will be leaned upon once again.

It won't shock me if the Pats chose to go all white again. They are the home team and can chose their uniform.

Can you put stickers on your helmet? A nice ghost sticker would be pretty neat.

With Drake Maye, I am sure the nerves are through the roof in the playoffs hence the first half jitters.

Wonder if they can do something to calm it down.

Put this in the wrong thread, meant for this one:

Toughness matters. The NFL West is flashy, and I know this might not apply to Seattle, BUT Seattle hasn't played Patriots level toughness.

The Rams are a pattycake team.

Durden, Barmore, Milt Williams have to wreck things.

Seattle is not the 2007 Patriots but we need to do what the Giants did to us in '07, and what we did to the Rams in '18. McVay consistently coaches soft teams. It happens over and over. They may be talented, yes Fiske and Verse are very good players, but the rest lack toughness. The worst Super Bowl in 30 years was the Rams - Bengals bowl of a few years ago, they played pattycake, didn't hit, and the execution was pretty bad.

Two guys that the D needs to really concentrate on are JSN and Walker. No one else on that O, scares me. Their secondary is definitely confident. Hopefully Henderson takes one into the endzone with like a 50+ yard run.

It's almost like it's he gets over amped up for new things. Everything is new, harder more eyes on them. Wonder if that, like the regular season will ease over time if they keep making runs like this. My guess is yes. These were 3 extremely hard weather games to play in and the SB should be a picnic otherwise.
