I think that plan was to play as conservatively as possible so as not to gas the guys and last until the weather hit. Think it was a Stretch/Ernie Adams plan that was ugly but got the win.
They also knew Stids limitations. Best they could muster was 7

He might not be 100% back from his injury, we find out these things when the seasons over so im holding judgement.
He gets 2 weeks off now, if that’s a problem then hopefully this helps

Barringer has become a liability. Why does this keep happening where a really solid punter becomes awful suddenly?
After generations of watching the Patriots play in Buffalo, where punts for negative yardage are not uncommon, I'm not worried about him. They don't get a lot of snow in California, do they?

Also, I believe he was deliberately avoiding the chance of a return.

coverage was much better today
Agree. There was lot more time especially after 1st quarter. Maye throws were errant . He did not play well. We won due to defense and maye legs and maye realizing the weather and not turning it over.

How many folks are gonna inevitably say?…

-Lowe at LT/or draft another young LT with longer arms
-Campbell to LG
-Slide Wilson to his natural position at C or sign Linderbaum in FA
-Let Onwenu walk/draft another RG/Try Wilson at RG
-Draft RT
Lots of posters, but luckily for us none of them will be named Vrabel, Elliot, or Cowden

With all of the angst we have heard about Maye and turnovers this post-season. They seem to have taken that to heart in this game.

Who do I root for Rams or Seahawks?

Just as we all predicted in August

Can’t lie, I enjoyed the lack of stress the last few years. What a treat to see our boys back in the big dance. But being bad is a freeing experience. Not sure my heart was ready for a return to relevance so soon.

Gonna be a long 2 weeks

Zero turnovers was the key to the game. The thing that didn’t happen that I was sure needed to was a big day in the running game.

What I want to know is what is Denver going to do with all those cool posters they put up in the stadium and that fans had as screensavers of Stid the Kid in sunglasses and headphones?!?!

Watching the end again…that bootleg playcall was ****ing ballsy
It's exactly the play I was hoping they would run. Glad it worked or I would have fired myself as armchair OC>

Whatever you do, do NOT read the GDT.

So many of these phony Pats fans declaring the team dead or crap or whatever they were doing after 2 series. it was f'in ridiculous. I thread muted more than a few supposed smart longtime Pats fans who showed their TRUE colors today.

A lot of the Maye magic is the long ball and that wasn't on today - both the weather and a great CB covering Boutte.

Our TEs were invisible (save for a drop).

Maye's legs, Stevenson running and a great defense were the heroes today.
