Patriots Injury News Mack Hollins Nearing Return?

I think they can activate him off IR but do not have to add him to the roster for up to 3 weeks. Remember Williams was practicing with the team for two weeks but was not activated to the roster until the 2nd game after he started practicing. Unless the rules are different during the playoffs.
That's called "opening the practice window". It's not an actual activation until he's put on the active roster. Which can happen any time during the 3 week window.
 
When they placed him on IR ruling out a couple of playoff games, it was already a long term injury so I doubt anyone is surprised if he can’t go Sunday.

I think more about Landry’s knee. When was the last time he had a full practice? He has been a shell of his former self and saw only 11 snaps vs Texans and did not practice yesterday. Starting to wonder if he could also be out.

Its hard for me to imagine that he walks into the building in snow and cold with no shirt or shoes, gets the practice window open, and isn't going to be active on Sunday. That's just my thinking.

Even if he isn't going to actually play on Sunday, it's one more thing for the Broncos' defense to worry about.

I have no idea, your holiness. Ask Karen Guregian. My guess is if Barefoot Mack can go, he will. I cannot imagine the Broncos need to scheme for him. As you have loved to point out before you came into the light, Hollins isn't Moss.

I'd love him to get 6-7 catches and 100 yards with a TD. That'd shut up some folks around here.

If we survive Sunday, I would hope this could indicate he could play in the Super Bowl?
