Really curious if he is indeed able to return this week, would be awesome to get him back

Hopefully, Hollins has been spending time at high altitude for the past month.

Wondering how soon Vrabel will bring the Pats to Denver to help them get acclimated.
FWIW the prevailing thought on Patriots Unfiltered yesterday: it's better to get there the day before instead of going a few days before because a few days isn't log enough to make a difference and the day before may not make you feel the full effect of the altitude (IDK). Unfiltered passed that along from comments they have heard over the years from players.

Hollins will come back to take Chism's snaps and some of Pop's too.
If he's fully healthy, it'll boost this offense a lot. These bad 3rd downs where Maye's been too slow & double clutching could be helped with Hollins ability to get open with a huge target.

hopefully he can play this week. but even if he can't and the Pats win, he'll be ready to go in the SB

I wasn't a total fan of the shoeless wonder when they signed him. I was proven wrong, Hollins is a major part of this team and he is great in the running game. Plays hard, doesn't ***** and loves playing here.

Thats a win win. Now could you upgrade that position in the offseason? Maybe. I think with a better line and keeping Maye protected better will do wonders for this offense.

The thing is, you actually need weeks to acclimate to altitude.

Going early, going late, really doesn't matter a whole hell of a lot either way.
He already said this morning they wouldn't be heading out early. There isn't a reason to because it doesn't have a benefit if you don't go out there at least a week and a half early.

He said this morning that it takes a week and a half to acclimate so it makes no difference.

I really hope he’s back this week; shoes not included..

He augments not only the passing game, but the running game as well.

It will be interesting to see if they open the practice window on him and Farmer.

RE: acclimation. Do teams ever use O2 restriction masks to simmulate high altitude?
