The Texans have better corners than the Chargers. The Safeties are above average and as good as the Chargers.. The LBers might be the "weak" link though they are also above average. Their DEs are EXCELLENT with good depth behind them and their DTs are good.

The Texans defense would be a true test of this offense.
Agreed, but the Chargers were a test as well.

It's the playoffs, these are the best teams in the NFL.

Chargers reddit claiming Bolt mascot was attacked by group of Pats fans.. He is working with Pats staff and authorities to ID perpetrators.

Anyone heard or seen anything on this?

Allen was straight donkey in his first playoff game.

Difference between me and you all? I can admit that!
admit what? that the numbers weren't pretty? the numbers mean jack ****... the difference between you and the collective us is you are here trying to troll a second year qb who is now 1 for 1 in the playoffs... and if you don't think people here, not me though - dude won and the W is all that matters, have been critical of Maye you are being willfully ignorant...

Allen was ass in the jags game this weekend... the turnovers were the difference... jags weren't good enough to overcome them... we were... Maye was...

Most of the games for the west coast teams are not at 1pm ET.
No they are at 1 PM PST
None except prime time games start later.

They spend the entire season with games staring at 10 am and 1 pm local time.
Noon local time is more consistent with that that 3:30

Nice article by Ian today... give it read if you haven't done so... its kinda cool... the D baffled the **** **** out of the chargers last night lol

Does anyone that has access to the all 22 have the details about the defense they played last night because I saw a blurb from Orlovsky that he said he did not recognize the defense upwards 80% of the time. So I assume it was some kind of amoeba/hybrid defense but what was so confusing?

Why would the Chargers mascot be working a road game? I thought mascots only did home games and the Super Bowl.

Can I casually remind everyone these losers rested week 18, purposefully losing against Denver KNOWING they would draw us in the wildcard? How perfectly sweet was it to absolutely throttle them the way we did defensively
They also had a QB that needed some time to recover from an injury and they had nothing to play for so why not rest. I think the "they wanted to play us" narrative is just a way for us to play the chip on our shoulder card.

We need to play Houston because the McDaniels sibling rivalry needs to be answered. LOL

Ben McDaniels is the WR coach/passing game coordinator for Houston

LOL Kyle Dugger burnt in coverage as a deep safety. Wow 45 yard plus play down field that lets the Texans off the hook on 3rd and 15.

Coverage is NOT his game. He's more of an in the box linebacker pretending to be a safety.

I see why we got rid of him.
He was awful in 2023 when the McCourty retired and Adrian Phillips lost a step forcing Dugger to play deep S. Posters are even in denial over that season.

It's an unofficial mascot, like Fireman Ed, named Boltman.

That's the sort of thing that would garner some news attention, especially if, as he's claiming, it was a group attack. But literally no news sites are talking about this.

TBF, there was a chance they might end up playing JAX, but getting NE was certainly the most likely outcome.

I saw the Reddit post and the OP refuses to share any proof of the claim. Says he “saw it on Facebook” and it “totally happened” but won’t share any link or screenshot of the supposed post. In today’s era where everything is recorded and posted online, not one single video has emerged. When called out on it, the OP talked more **** about Pats fans. So most likely, a made up story for the sake of ragebaiting.

@Pape +

I bet most haven't even read the beginning of the thread and are scratching their heads wondering wtf we're talking about.
I did discover that I can NOT see it when I hold my iPad in portrait mode, but do see it when in landscape mode.

( there: that should confuse them more. )

I mentioned it earlier, but it bears mentioning again. For most of the 1st half, the Pats didn't have Barmore and Williams on the field at the same time. Then on that last Chargers drive, they put them out there and the Pats got a sack.

Fast forward to the 4th quarter when the Pats got that nifty substitution gifted to them, it put Barmore/Williams back on the field together and the Pats got 2 MORE sacks.

If the Pats can get an Edge Rusher who is better than Landry or Chaisson, then the Pats will be Sack monsters next year because they'll put them up regardless of whether Barmore/Williams are on the field together.
Or Barmore-Tonga-Williams as the 3 - 4

No, he's safe and that's what winning a Super Bowl will do for a few years but his OC ( his good friend) needs to be canned immediately) and A JBrown is shooting his way out of town with the drops and the Bit*hing all season about the offense ( he was right). I'm not sure how a WR room w him and Diggs would work w both wanting Alpha dog status...
Interesting. Roseman built a roster for Sirianni especially when hurts was nearly traded a few seasons ago. AJ helped transition that offense when he got there. I personally believe AJs out. I believe one way or another he's forcing Rosemans hand.. Hopefully he will pick up when he sees a 508 Massachusetts area code.... .. Diggs is a much more mature player at his age now and place in his career i truly believe the ACL injury gave him some perspective on things. He doesn't even play 100% of the snaps and still puts up 1,000 yards coming of an ACL.. super impressive. AJ could be the missing piece at WR.. JMO

The NE locker room under Vrabel is very strong and if Vrabel chose to make a move he will run it by his locker room leaders.

The only good thing about the jax loss , and i “hate” to bring this up again ( i don’t whatsoever), is the last 2 weeks all that the chargers fans were saying was how they want no part of jax and they want ne all day. Well both they and jax are sitting at home. ****ing losers lmao
Well said patsy, well said... remember last week I was saying that the reports coming from the LA side was that they were content with facing us.. now how do they look 3 ****ing points.. losers that chose the wrong team to gamble with. Elite QB, Elite Coaching and a hungry defense held them to 3 points...

Do we think vrabel is too reluctant to sit players in game?

The left side is the line should have been reset to what we’ve had most of the last month
You learned absolutely NOTHING about Vrabel and leading of men from the Pitt game (Rhamondre ).

I wouldn't sweat that. The Chargers D is/was excellent in vertical coverage and on interior runs. This was going to be a perimeter run game and a checkdown game. Khalil Mack is a HoFer, he's probably the best edge guy that Campbell has to face in the post season. Drake took what was there and didn't press downfield. They had a good offensive game plan they were able to follow because the defensive game plan worked perfectly. Superior coaching won out, the players executed. There's things to improve but this was a great win.
I agree. In retrospect SD was a good first opponent to prepare for a long playoff run. The lesson learned for Maye is that he should not get frustrated and learn trust the defense. It is unnecessary to push the envelop to make a play if the other team is not scoring. A win is a win.
