I believe this is the second all pro for Marcus jones in 4 years . That's awesome.. the lone shining star of the 2022 draft class.

All pro honors have more meaning than pro bowl selections IMO..

Gonzo wasn't snubbed... he didn't have a single INT the entire season. Hard to think of even one big play he had. Some nice tackles sure, but I was unimpressed with him overall.

Would love Him to get a couple in the new season all would be forgiven.

Doesn’t matter. Revis, Asomugha & plenty of other CBs have made All-Pro without having any interceptions during the season. It’s about coverage.

Namdi had i think one INT his all pro season.. what's hurt gonzo is they play zone so much.. it takes Away from Gonzo's aggressiveness as a true man coverage corner.. plus he has no pass rush.. I fully expect Vrabel to go after bonafide pass rushers next season.. it will allow the secondary to really maximize thier potential..

Ocho was a great player in cincy under Lewis offense that was more on Ocho than anyone else.. when he was here he admitted it himself on nightcap. .. Josh has morphed his offense to tailor the skill sets of the player.. If we signed Pitts he would flourish with all pro Drake IMO.

He will definitely hit FA his # just grew significantly with his all pro selection as well.. that seems correct with cap information..

I highly doubt it but I could be wrong. Remember when I argued that Hollins was smart and was a great signing? Pitts is too much of a risk. We should sign a younger Hooper, that is all we need. Not Isaiah Likely. A younger, average, smart, and dependable TE is all we need.

The way this offense is designed it's not really geared towards a proverbial #1.. with that being said the move TE is heavily involved. Pitts has a Hernandez skill set and has been in alot of dysfunction in Atlanta with the HC and QBs over the years. I've felt for a while now he would fit to what we do well on offense. We have enough at WR we need to be a bit more dynamic at TE that makes is hard for teams to play man against us.
