I read on NFLTR that he refused to fire Todd Monken. He's a good coach. Wonder what led to the sudden firing (aside from missing the playoffs).
There’s six openings, not including the Ratbirds, and someone else called as well. My guess is Jerry. Regardless, there’s interest.
Ian Rapoport on NFLN says it wasn’t sudden, that ownership was evaluating for a while, and one of the big factors was that he had, in fact, lost the locker room. But that it was still a surprise to Harbaugh, he thought he was safe. He's a good coach. Wonder what led to the sudden firing (aside from missing the playoffs).

Assuming it’s not the agent lying.I wonder if it’s Miami, still waffling on McDaniel?
Can‘t imagine Harbaugh wanting to deal with the Tua situation though.
So now everyone involved in deflatgate has now lost their jobs and haven’t won a thing since!!!
...and the Browns want to interview him as their HC.I read on NFLTR that he refused to fire Todd Monken.
I'm guessing it was more than just that.

They need to find out who the leading locker room lawyer is and ship them out. Otherwise, it’s the inmates running the asylum. He's a good coach. Wonder what led to the sudden firing (aside from missing the playoffs).
Nice free lunch - dinner and hotel also get a close look at the facilities.Fulfills their Rooney Rule requirement.
True, but…Fulfills their Rooney Rule requirement.
Isn’t that how he ended up with the Pats?True, but…
Ariz might also want to try and force him (T Brown ) as OC on whoever is stupid enough to take the HC position. So they call him in for HC and actually feel him out for OC during the interview.
(Note: Brown may go just to get his feet wet with how an interview works, even if he has no interest. ).
Whoever (low credibility guy) they hire as HC may be like Mayo with no good connections and be more than happy to have one half of coaching staff solved for him.
a little bit isn't enough for most of the teams that will want to hire himHe’s 63. Hes got a little bit left.
