Your post led me down a mini rabbit hole. Maye had 50% more snaps than Lamar this year. Considering BAL has the 2nd best rushing team (3rd in att, with Bills at the top for both), that's understandable. If Jackson is such a excellent passer then why does' he only have 302 pass attempts? Ranked last in the NFL.
Herbert 512 pass att.
Allen 460 pass at.t
Hurts 454 pass att.
Williams 568 pass att.
Shampoo 560 pass att.
Nix 612 pass att.
Darnold 477 pass att.
Maye has 492 pass attempts and I know what that is. Because Maye is a superb passer. Maye would rather hang in the pocket and pass.
Maye doesn't have that great a cast. They look as good as they do because of Maye and his accuracy and decision making. Williams is a rookie. Boutte has not looked the same after injury. Pop isn't tearing it up at all. Henry, Diggs, Rahm, Hooper and Hendo.
Jackson has Henry, Flowers, Likely, Andrews, Bateman. Jackson doesn't pass more because he is a liability and the Ravens limit his risk.
I had no idea Lamar is so far (per NFL Reference for eligible candidates) the all time career leader for 1) Adjusted Yards Gained per pass attempt and 2) Passer Rating.
Plus "Drake Maye is playing with the greatest tight end in the history of the New England Patriots, Hunter Henry." -TB12
