Well, looks like no suspension.

Wilfork fined
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff January 4, 2008 03:10 PM
Patriots NT Vince Wilfork has been fined $15,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct in the team's season finale against the Giants.

The fine was specifically levied because after the play was over, Wilfork was deemed to have poked his finger in the opponents facemask near his eye.

Sounds about right.

Had Jacobs been injured, I think he would've been suspended. However, since nothing happened, a fine is fair.

I sure hope he and Harrison wise up in the playoffs. We do not need to be giving up 15 free yards on stupid penalties.

Fair enough.

BB must've really heaped the Humble Pie on him for that one...

I certainly hope so. Intentional or not, he should know better than that.
That's 15 yards waiting to happen.

No surprise. Hopefully the guys will keep everything in check through the playoffs.

I could see they had tremendous pressure this year. They're only human.

I'm sure they are going to talk out those chippy moments in practice.

No doubt. Most of them keep their emotions in check far better than I would as a mere average Joe!

it's faif to me......do we play next sat or sun?????

Surprised he didn't get suspended after repeatedly attempting to intentionally hurt opponents this season.
Surprised the other guy didn't get suspended for trying to poke Vince's finger with his eye.

Even if you were poked in the eye you could see that coming from a mile away.
