SOS has never been used as an argument beforeThere are literally almost no criteria other than the title, since it's not MVQB. A couple of people have made an argument for CMC this year.
This is not the first time, there is no conspiracy against Maye. How do you not get that 2 guys talking about it today about Maye doesn’t mean this isn’t the first time it’s been a criteria?
There are many MVPs that played weak schedules and it has never been discussed as a factor
When was there another time? This is not the first time, there is no conspiracy against Maye.
The reason it is being discussed more this year is becuase there is such a huge discrepancy in the SOS between the top contenders.
Maye vs MJ and Scottie should be on PPVThe schedule we needed for Drake Maye to get the respect he deserves.
Dude, you are off the rails. When was there another time?
Kurt Warner played the worst schedule in the NFL and that wasn’t a consideration when he won. That’s one example there are others.
Do you have a single example of when SOS was used as an MVP criteria?
You don’t but like always you cannot admit you are wrong and just repeat false statements over and over.
If you think that’s harsh, give examples. Otherwise you are saying it but have nothing to back it up, and are just sticking to it to not accept you are wrong.
The main reason for me is the player who makes everyone around him betterAre we really going to ignore the fact that one guy is the wild card while the other guy has the best record in the league?
That one guy improved his team by over 300% from the previous year?
That one guy took his team from the worst record in the NFL to the best in a single season?
If the MVP is strictly a TD vs TD award then it's not really about who's more valuable.
Drake is the clear MVP.
Watching Breer tonight it was hard to tell, but without giving it away it seemed he was leaning towards Maye.Well rich Eisen the jets fan is laughing at the Vegas odds.
He’s voting for Stafford.
Stafford buddy Dan orlovsky said he’s voting for Stafford. That’s two votes for Stafford so far.
I figured if a running back would ever win it again it would have been Saquon Barkley last year. When that didn't happen it just seemed to confirm the MVP as a quarterback award.I think in the context of value to the team, we would be nowhere without Drake's performance. The only other player I could see is McCaffrey.
This is hilarious. I say they have never considered SOS because I have never ever heard it brought in my life in an MVP conversation.Dude, you are off the rails.
You are the one making false statements that SOS is never considered.
So I guess you know what every voter considers when they sit down and make their pick every year.
Remember how this started?
I said SOS was being considered.
You asked by who,
I told you I personally watched 2 MVP voters talk about it today (and Breer discussed it as well later).
Then you switched gears to "it's never been considered before, it's all about hurting Maye".
I am not wrong, you are.
You literally live in the Bizzaro world.
Bad Bye.
So you realistically think it's being considered this year for the first time? This is hilarious. I say they have never considered SOS because I have never ever heard it brought in my life in an MVP conversation.
I offer you an opportunity to give an example. You can’t.
Your response is I am wrong because I don’t know what every voter thinks. So evidently you do?
It started as what you posted, and I accepted they are taking about it. You were right.
The second discussion was it’s bizarre because they have never considered it before. I didn’t switch gears. We relived the first question and moved on the second.
Feel free to offer any argument or example of how it was used in previous MVP votes. Even a rumor would be better than what you have.
My god the stupid in here is having a week.
That is literally what I am saying. So you realistically think it's being considered this year for the first time?
You realistically think 2 guys that have votes this year that said it was a consideration, didn't consider it any other year when they had votes?
So your argument is that they are considering for the very first time, because it hurts Maye? Do you realize how crazy that sounds?
It's getting more attention this year because there is such a huge difference in SOS and strength of defense played.
I'll tell you what, find any example that SOS was never considered before.
I already provided proof it was being considered this year, you then pivoted to "it's never been used before".
Put the onus on yourself, show me proof, back up your claim as I did with my original statement.
I will wait.
This is not trueJust stop it…
MVP this year will be Stafford, no way other way. And only reason will be strength of the opponents
But, never before SOS was in conversation, ever. Also, what was the final SOS of the last year MVP winner and what was the SOS of the guy at 2nd place? To help you, one was the 27th or 28th, the other one was 8th. Guess who won
To help you, it wasn't discussed last year much because it was a moot point, as their SOS was incredibly similar.Just stop it…
