Be specific. Go on record with which part you disagree with.
Sure...

He's not going to be suspended this year for the incident but the distraction here is the real problem. - There's been no distraction for the month and there won't be now especially if all he did was whack his chef.

On the bright side he's gonna be released and we will be forced to make a trade for a legitimate WR next year. 1000 yard receiver whose been an absolute stud of a teammate for the season and your brightside is releasing him. The "bright side" you're seeing is because you're looking out your mouth.

What a piece of **** - It's always funny to see someone without money get upset because someone with money is living their life their way without negatively impacting anyone else.

What has Diggs done that has made him a piece of ****? Bang some chicks and get them pregnant? Sounds like he pays his child support. Party on a boat and get high - Still has done his job as a WR and a teammate.

You must be from Happy valley, because altercations like this supposedly is happen in towns and cities across America every single day, and in some place every 5 minutes. According to FBI there are 10.7 assaults per 1,000 people, or 3,531,000 assaults in America every year.
Happy Valley, brilliant lol

Again. Which part?
The anger. The guy has been a pleasant surprise and a key to the team's success.

And you, like almost all of the people in the world, have no idea what took place.

why? it could very easily be a man. I'd say around 50/50, based on population data. Also, no mention of "domestic" yet.

Because choking/strangulation charges usually involve man-on-woman. Which also applies in this complaint coming against Diggs from his female live-in chef, according to the police report.

Only Patsfans.com could turn a Patriot player smacking around a woman into WE'RE TRADING FOR AJ BROWN NOW! Get a ****ing grip people, seriously....source, it's in the police report just read on 98.5

The fact the Pats are standing behind him, I would think he isn't guilty or it is a situation that was overblown that will be handled. The question is what will the league do? With they put him on the Commissioner's exemption list for the playoffs?

If he is guilty, he should be suspended. Felony assault is bigger than winning football games. If this is an overblown situation, it would really screw over the Pats unnecessarily.

So, typical day in NFL media?

In any event I try to follow the innocent until proven guilty model for everyone, especially in the post me too days (and don't get it twisted, this is the minimum of what I think should happen to anyone who abuses a woman, but false allegations should be treated equally under the law.)

There are obviously some cases where there are so many different victims and so much corroborating evidence you know they're guilty, like Deshaun Watson, Justin Tucker, Harvey Weinstein, etc. But for anything that isn't blindingly obvious I try to follow evidence over accusations.
Remember the punter who was accused of rape but later exonerated but cut immediately? He had hooked up w a girl consensually and then later that night, she was SA'd and he was accused until video tape proved he was nowhere in the area. It ruined his career for a few years until give a second chance.

I can't speak for other people on why they chose to use violence in their life. I would almost certainly not use it in my own life in any scenario that doesn't feel like a life or death situation.

Certainly wouldn't use it because I was upset at my own personal chef over a misunderstanding on when my bday was... Allegedly.

So if you are accused of a crime, but deny it completely, your company or customers should terminate you preemptively?
Depends on what evidence is out there and how credible each side is.

"Innocent until proven guilty" exists to be a counterbalance to the power of the State during a criminal prosecution. There's no ethical or moral reason for anything else to use it.

And keep in mind that "not guilty" doesn't mean the person didn't do the crime. It only means the State couldn't prove the crime beyond a reasonable doubt. Everyone on the jury could think "yeah, he probably did it" but they are still supposed to vote "not guilty" because "probably did it" isn't "beyond a reasonable doubt".

So yeah, I can think of plenty of crimes (and you can too) where I don't want someone who "probably did it" to be working for me.

And even aside from that, stuff could come out that shows the person is as dumb as a post or has colossally bad judgement. And again there's nothing moral or ethical that requires me to continue to employ someone like that.

Finally, I might want to cut the guy loose to prevent a hit to my business's reputation or to not lose talent.

If the person is my #10 performer and my top 3 people come to me and say "from what we've learned we're not going to work with that guy and if you don't fire him we're leaving", the dude is very likely gonna be out the door. I'm running a business, not a charity.

Is that a rule of thumb? Can dudes not get choked out? Do we know for a fact the chef is female?

Found video surveillance. By the way, I'd never admit or want anyone to know I got slapped by another man even for money.

What was Will charged with?

This is much worse than I thought it was 10 minutes ago.

The sort of stuff detailed is the kind of thing that gets him either cut or suspended by the NFL.

AND he seems to acknowledge that something happened and that this was NOT all made up.

Telling her in writing that she didn't need to go to the police and there is still time to reverse because nothing really happened?

That's a practical acknowledgement that something did happen.

Cardi B actually then contacted this woman on Diggs' behalf?

It doesn't sound like sexual assault and that is not alleged, but the details about wanting her out of his house for a couple weeks, and then finding her in her bedroom in his house, these are the kinds of allegations which would make a jury surmise that something happened in that bedroom.

Who cares what you did. I made my comment on Diggs collective personality as a person and that triggered you.

The weirdos will comment on me while I comment on Diggs. I don't go around name calling people because they say **** I don't like. I'd be doing that all day.

Again which of the comments is it specifically that you're referring to. Is it that he's not a piece of ****? Well good luck with letting that stand.

Is it that he won't be released? Dude has out performed his contract as it is and was always going to force a renegotiation. He was gone anyway.

But sure. Single me out because you don't like my collective post hahah.
Didn’t take you long to come out of the basement, did it? Also, are you ok?

After immediately jumping all over Julian Edelman when he was accused of sexual assault and wanting him to be cut from the team, I am going to take a wait and see approach on this. I just hope if he is innocent, the league doesn't put him on the exemption list.

Great. I can work with this.

The distraction isn't in the incident. These people don't give a **** about you beating someone up.

The distraction is in that it's public now. You don't think there's a difference? It's literally breaking news highlighted in bold black and red lettering on yahoo. The players will be dealing with this from now until the potential Superbowl.

Diggs was out here doing blow in the off-season. Plain as day. On video. He has 3 pregnancies in the last 18 months and need look no further than to him being shipped around the league like a hot potato to get a understanding of how the people around him feel about him.

But hey, maybe he's just a really good guy who has had some small unfortunate incidents blow up out of proportion because of his status as a D tier celebrity.
