I'm not judging until all details are out.

Given some of the rumours surrounding Diggs over the years and his lifestyle - this story might take some crazy turns.

Could be a jealous lover who enjoys being choked during the act and suddenly doesn't and feels like charges should be pressed to teach a le$$on (emphasis on $$).

I recall Randy Moss once being involved in something similar to what I described above.

Lots of haters out there looking for a name + come up.

I will reserve judgment till we find out more. It could be someone looking for a payday and the accusations could be false. It might be a small altercation that the other party is blowing out of proportion. We shall see .

Huck: Diggs was the last person we wanted to hear something like this about. Many here was not happy on his original signing. He's making George Pickens look like a Saint Bernard horribly timing.

Once again you have convicted him with zero evidence. You don't even know if it was a man or a woman. George Pickens has been a problem every where he has been.

It's no secret that every professional sports team has a roster of ex-cops and ex-feds on the payroll solely to keep track of this stuff AND have direct lines to current cops and feds. If this happened in early December the Pats knew something, which I HOPE means Diggs is in the clear of anything real bad. Morally at least.

According to the Boston Globe:

"During a remote hearing in the courthouse Tuesday, a judge took a motion to impound the case documents under advisement, and the defense said they’re working on a monetary resolution to the incident."

Of course they are.

They have known about this for almost a month, and playing catch high level throughout that period, so it hasn't harmed them in any way.
I'm worried he'll be suspended, not how it will effect his playing

Context is so important here. We need to know. On one hand you can imagine a situation with these charges of someone strangling a woman in a rage. Which I would HOPE we can all agree would be monstrous. But it could also just as easily be some situation where he got in a tussle with some guy somewhere and during it he put his hands on the guys neck and the guy is now charging him for trying to strangle him.

Not really convinced this is much until it presents itself as more. Diggs was forward with the team and the team is in his support. Without much else to go off of, that's an encouraging sign: an organization would often stray from expressing support, merely just stating they're aware of the situation and will not interfere with an investigation. The fact they're publicly supporting is good (assuming the organization really has zero tolerance for legitimate assault, etc.)

That could change, of course, but until then, it feels like a minor situation.

Dam thought S Digs was past Sh!t like that. Well to the we're all set at WR crowd cheers.
I'm clean... no issues except with my QB who sucks..

Feels like this is way too vague right now to form an opinion on. If he is guilty get him off the team but there are too many questions right now. Why did this take a month to come out? Has he actually been charged? Will this all go away if Diggs agrees to pay?

Talk about bad timing/distractions.

Based on the fact that the gender of the victim is not mentioned, I am going to assume this is not a domestic violence situation. Therefore, I am going to further assume that this is not a commissioner's exempt list type of thing and he will be able to play until the case sorts itself out.

Unfortunately, it looks like his hearing is two days before the AFCCG which is not great, especially if they make it there and have to travel to Denver to play in it.
Helpful take - I didn't think of this, and immediately my mind went to domestic (which seems worse, whether it is or not) ... For all we know, this is a bar incident where things got out of control ... Not that it makes it any 'better', we just don't know...

Oh no 2, he fired his Chef. Goddamn you Stefon!!!! Kraft needs to cut him right now, and bring in Calvin Ridley and Brandon Aiyuk, like you always said they should do. Only 50 $$$ million+ a season for those 2.

S Diggs just have that history of there's always something with him. I really hope it's a none or he'll not see the end of his current Patriots contract.

Such as ?

Still waiting 2, and I'm not going to let this go until you back up your claims.

I do not subscribe to "well let the legal process play out" before someone is cut from a team due to an allegation because that can take years and end with no definitive conclusion, but I sure as hell want to know what the allegations even are before doing anything first!
