So do Namath* and Eli. Eli will get in only because he caught lightning in a bottle in 2 post seasons ( he went one and done in the other 4) and beat the hated Patriots.
Namath is the exception because SB3 put the AFL on the map.
Sunny Jurgenson and Warren Moon were both at .500
Eli should not be in the HOF.

Well said... we lose one of our best WR'S in Hollins and Drake throws for 5 TDs the next game. Drake is clearly the MVP here. Drake had elevated this offense from worst to top 5 in a single season.
Imagine what Maye would do if he had the Rams offense at his disposal. Now imagine Stafford’s numbers if he had the Pats offense instead. It would be Maye no contest. Stafford is great in his own respect but Maye is doing stuff few if any QBs have ever done for his age. There are people who want to throw the schedule argument out there but are ignoring that the Pats did better against the same opponents the Rams faced, and that one QB has two elite WRs and one doesn’t. The haters are running out of excuses.

Is there an outside chance of having Co MVPs again this season ie Brett Farve & Barry Sanders in 1997,Peyton Manning and Steve McNair in 2003?

Have Drake Maye been announced yet??

Sure why not. Could tie in votes

Matthew Stafford just made sure of that.

Absolutely. And the rams offensive and defensive lines.. it seems like the haters are looking for any if every reason to deny Drake what he's earned. You know what I think drove Drake? Winning the starting job last year training camp and being told Brissett was going to be the starter..

That right there i feel drove Drake and he's never looked back. Nothing against our WRs but if Stafford had our skill guys he probably looks more like he did the first half of last night. He's not mobile so those defensive ends would have a field day.. as Drake HELPS this offensive line Drake has helped a guy in Lowe look like a real viable NFL LT.

I believe the Rams are locked into the 6th seed after losing, so there’s a chance their starters don’t play or are limited next week.

McVay says starters are playing because they need to get better. However, I suspect if they have a good first quarter he will sit them then.

"Oh, we're playing," McVay said Monday night after the Rams' 27-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. "Yeah, they're playing."
"No, they were going to play anyways," McVay said. "We need to play. We need to play better football. So I don't know what the consequences are in those different types of things, but we got to play better."

They have a 43% chance to get the 5 seed and a 57% chance to get the 6 seed.

Someone just mentioned how easy the Bills schedule was when Allen won the MVP last year. Nobody was talking about that last year.

Being completely honest, IDGAF about regular season MVP. The only reason I'd love to see Maye win it is to shut up all the Buffalo morons who say Allen is the best QB in the league and shove the letters MVP down your throat at every opportunity.

I care about Super Bowl MVPs.

Lot of support for McCaffrey on Get Up
Yeah, I saw that. They downgraded Maye because of his schedule. So you can expect plenty of media peeps to go along with that.

Agreed, I don’t care about MVPs, even Super Bowl MVPs, I’d be thrilled if the Pats won the SB and Diggs was the MVP. But if Drake were to win the SB MVP, I wouldn’t complain.

I don’t even care about stats, though Drake has been putting up some unbelievable stats. The biggest thing I care about is Drake playing really well and winning.

The 49ers schedule was no harder than the patriots. At the beginning of the season SF had the easiest and NE second easiest.

I would love for Drake to win it but I think it will go to Stafford as sort of a career achievement award. I think the voters will likely lean toward the veteran.

I only care about the Super Bowl MVP because your team has to win to get one. (Unless you're Chuck Howley.)

I think they'll give it to Stafford as a lifetime achievement award thinking Drake will have more chances.

Regarding the Pats strength of schedule, Stafford and the Rams are 4-2 and Drake and the Patriots 6-0 vs common opponents.

Titans
Ravens
Saints
Bucs
Panthers (Rams loss)
Falcons (Rams loss)

I didn't add up the point differential in these games but a quickly look says the Pats have an advantage.

Thank goodness Dan Orlovsky doesn’t have a vote.
