It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I like Pierce, but he's not a high volume WR.What do you think of the Colts Alec Pierce 6'3, 211 consecutive over 800yds seasons. He came out that year we drafted Tyquan. Need some other young buck to go along with Kyle Williams and the Chis.
I honestly don't know enough about him, is he a free agent in 26' I never had a problem with Brown until he started complaining about touches while they were winning. And I would relent on my stance on him if Vrabel thought he could get him to out team first.
Alec Pierce is finishing his 4-year rookie contract with the Indianapolis Colts in 2025, a deal signed in 2022 worth $6.6 million, but due to his breakout performance (leading the NFL in yards per catch in 2024/2025), he's poised for a significant new deal in the 2026 offseason, with insiders predicting potentially $20+ million annually as he hits free agency. He's earning a base salary of $3.656M in 2025, but the Colts face a decision on paying up or risking losing their top deep threat.
I’d feel bad but at the same time, nah I’m good. Buffalo deals with Brady for almost 20 years and then they get a short five year run that results in not one Super Bowl berth and already we’re back. If we get to the Super Bowl this year that would be hilarious. What does a Bills fan do after their team wins the Super Bowl?
Turns off the video game console.
He was breaking out with Danny Dimes then we know what happened. At 6'3 he can climb the ladder for Maye's deep footballs when they are a little off.I

He's a downfield threat, not too dissimilar form what Boutte is, and what KW can turn into.
I think he would be redundant here.

They're going to need an entire Statie detail to keep him off the field next week.
He can practice for a few weeks (4 iirc) while remaining on IR. If he’s still on IR they won’t need the staties. Thats why Vrabes put him on IR.Today Vrabel said he expects Campbell to practice this week, it should be an interesting week leading up to Sunday.
Diggs is still under contract. Hollins is 33, he'll be affordable. The Patriots have to pay Boutte and Hollins, Diggs contract is going up. They are going to need most of their cap space to resign their own guys.
Good. Step on their throats. Poetic way to end their cute little run.
right, that's what I thought.
They have an out after this year, and he's due 21M next year under the current structure.
I would much rather pay that than cut him.
retweet.Diggs is still under contract. Hollins is 33, he'll be affordable.
If they're smart they can talk Boutte into a team-friendly 2-3 year deal since he's still only 23.
DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE!retweet.
The expense is going to be Gonzo. You have to figure they'll resign Gibbens, Tonga, Chaisson and Hawkins. Lowe is up, you'd probably get him for good back up money, unless someone else is desperate. Boutte is worth an extension, but he's not someone I'd pay open market pricing for. So do you go for a guy like Romeo Doubs or try to improve the defense?
Tonga yes, Chiasson, yes, Hawkins, maybe, Gibbens, we'll see. Gibbens has had a rough last month, and had plenty of opportunity.retweet.

I'll cosign this plan. The defense is where they need the most help.Tonga yes, Chiasson, yes, Hawkins, maybe, Gibbens, we'll see. Gibbens has had a rough last month, and had plenty of opportunity.
You improve the defense, to me, that's a no brainer, that's where the least depth is - you're playing practice squad-level players out there - zero depth.
You have 4 NFL level receivers right now on the roster, and one is playing at a pretty damned good level. Adding Romeo Doubs to that *next* year seems like...something a team who doesn't have any other holes would do.
There are gaping holes at linebacker, safety, edge rusher and depth corner on this team. Gaping. Robert Spillane is a nice player to have - he shouldn't be like, your 3rd best defensive player.
Edit: Boutte's only 23, I think he could be convinced to take a team-friendly 2-year deal with almost all guaranteed money, and then see what he does in the next couple of years - he could still make huge money on the open market at 25.
I would like Tonga back, but do feel that body type of player can come and go. Meaning if Tonga gets a ridiculous offer from someone else, I have no doubt they could identify an under-utilized player and replace him. But to be clear, I do want him back.Tonga yes, Chiasson, yes, Hawkins, maybe, Gibbens, we'll see. Gibbens has had a rough last month, and had plenty of opportunity.

I think what was meant that the amount due to Diggs is going up in 2026.Diggs is still under contract.
I think we're pretty much stuck with Landry for another year - if I'm reading the structure correctly. Which is *fine* if he's a rotational piece, not fine if he's a fulltime starter.I would like Tonga back, but do feel that body type of player can come and go. Meaning if Tonga gets a ridiculous offer from someone else, I have no doubt they could identify an under-utilized player and replace him. But to be clear, I do want him back.
Gibbens, meh. I know one poster who has talked him up on several occasions, but I don't see it, he's JAG.
Hawkins has shown growth, would like him back.
Chiasson I would like back. Question is on Landry, how easy is it to get out of that contract? He's a prime candidate for a restructure, or out right release, he's not worth his contract. If we could only keep one of the two, I would opt for Chiasson and hit that position in FA, or very early in the draft.
