If you think Vegas is in the know Josh Allen is taking one snap and leaving the game the line has moved overnight from Bills -13 to Bills -11.5 and is now Bills -8.5 at home to the Jets.

The Patriots were -13.5 on the road yesterday.

I think there's a chance the Chargers don't play Herbert donating the Broncos the 1 seed and the Bills pull everyone of relevance and are in a dogfight with the Jets and we see Buffalo in the first playoff game.

I don't care about individual awards, never really have.
That said you most certainly could argue the case for both.
After tonight Stafford will probably regain the passing yards lead, and his 40-5 TD/INT ratio will open voters eyes.
Maye is is better in many other areas, and he certainly appears to be doing it with far less than Stafford.
I could see either winning it, but I would think voters will be swayed by Stafford's age, never winning the award, and probably never having an other shot at it after this year. You would hope those things wouldn't come int play, but they do.
Agreed. Stafford is one of the last generation of the stature pocket passer.. he came into the league with a HOF at WR in Megatron. So he's being propped up.

He also had alot of losing and mediocrity in Detroit before he got traded to LAR..

Drake and Allen both have less to work with on thier respective teams. And have been more impressive to me.

Initially I thought the same thing about Buffalo.. however seen..as how they loss yesterday they are going to want to get that taste out thier mouths and will take it out on the hapless Jets.. plus McDermott is gonna want get attention away from his end of game decision making.

Anyone seen Green Cow-ard?
He/ she won’t show up here unless it’s to brag about something and this week the Bills do not have bragging rights !! Fans from other teams do not bother me with the exception of this fan !! Did not show up when we won earlier in the year. Only showed up when they won a couple of weeks ago and then it was to brag and tell us how much better the Bills were compared to the Patriots!!!!

Certainly agree.
If you swap Maye/Stafford, I would think Rams have no fewer wins, and Pats would have less.
But again, it wouldn't be some outrage if Stafford wins it, he's having a fantastic year.

Stafford is just fortunate to have Elite WR's from Megatron to Kupp now Puka. I really hope Maye get's that lucky with WR's.

What a way to end this year! We demolish the Jets in NY to win the division, and the Bills choke away a chance to win by going to OT, but instead play hero ball with low-percentage 2pt play. Showing off their stupid coaching and snake-bit record in clutch playoff-type games. Ahhhh.

People are shook at the thought of facing the Bills in the playoffs because of 47-17, but there are a few things that are different now. First the game would be in Foxboro not Buffalo and that matters a lot.
Personally, I'm not shook to face the Bills but if I list teams that I think have highest odds of beating the Patriots the Bills are #1 on my list in the AFC. I'd still favor the Pats but by less than against any other team. I'd rather avoid the toughest team IMO

Outside of the Moss/Welker years, Brady never had a top #1 WR with us (an didn't win a SB with Welker/Moss).
Troy Brown, Edleman, really good players, not close to tops in the league in any given season.
When you have a QB like Maye, you don't need Jamar Chase or Jefferson.
Would it be nice to have a guy like that...sure, but isn't it better to have an overall good cast where you can spread the ball around where one injury doesn't kill you and defenses can't take one guy away and beat you?
I like our WR room. Love the leadership, production and toughness that Diggs has brought. Really encouraged to see KW develop. Love the dedication and leap that Boutte has made.
Again, would certainly like to have a Chase type, but it's not even close to a prerequisite to competing for Championships.

Williams is going to need a ramp up game.. I say play him the first Quarter and sit him the rest of the game..
I think both Spillane and Williams need game reps heading into the playoffs. How much they play vs Miami will depend on how the game goes. Tonga probably doesn’t need to play but it would be good to get him, Williams, Spillane and Barmore all out there together for a few plays next Sunday.

One player I definitely wouldn’t play next week is Campbell…even if he’s medically cleared. He needs that knee to rest and heal up as much as possible before the playoffs. I’d even consider resting him in the first round, depending on the match up.

man, if Hendo didn't get a concussion in BAL, and even had ~70yds, he'd have a good chance to run for 1000 this week.
But, unless he breaks off a few big ones, he won't get the 142yds he needs.
At least Diggs should get the 30yds he needs to hit 1000 for the season. That's a crazy accomplishment.
Should be at the top of the list for Comeback player.

Drake has done more with less and as you perfectly stated we don't have Drake we would be a 3 or 4 win team..

I'm not belittling Maye, because your theory is correct, but you're light on the wins. This team is dramatically improved all around. Are they a 13 win team with Mac Jones? No. Are they a 3 or 4 team with Mac Jones? Again, no.

To your point, it 100% matters who's under center. But I believe a good QB of game manager level gets them to the playoffs... but not the division. A bad QB get's them under .500 and a great QB gets them where they are today.

this killed me.....

Brady owned the Bills throughout his career. He was 33-3 against the Bills, throwing for 9,032 passing yards and 72 touchdowns. It was the most wins he had against a team and the most touchdown passes he threw against one team. It was the second most yards he threw against a single team. The only other team he dominated as much was the New York Jets.

With all due respect that's BS tell that to Joe Burrow. I was watching a Round table with some QB's talking about their peer have who they admired as a player: Stafford's name came up a lot. He's well respected by his peers even Mahomes made mention of him. My point I Do Not want Maye to go that Brady Route of WR's I would rather him to go the Stafford route. again Maye needs a Young #1 WR Type and young TE. Look at who his peers have as weapons it's not even close. Kyle Williams is improving we need more than Kyle Williams going forward. I know for fact that Vrabel values the WR position more than that GOAT HC Guy.

Oh and by the way we are playing a First place Schedule in 2026. Meaning not a lot of powder puffs: look at the Lions no Playoffs in 2025. A Tougher schedule had a lot to do with that. My point we need some Elite Players to combat that schedule.

It's not BS at all.
When you have an absolute weapon as a QB, you don't need a top 5 WR to win a SB.
How many did Brady win without one (6)
How many did Mahomes win without one?
Again, I would very much like to have a 1500, 12 TD WR, but when you have a top QB, you don't need one to win.
It's far too early to put Maye in the Brady/Mahomes category, but that's where he is ascending.

When you have an Elite player at QB, your window is open, period.

You know what, excuse my language but eff it. I’d pay 600-700 dollars to go see Patriots in the playoffs.

I don't what us playing the Bills early: the Allen Factor and the most experienced AFC playoffs Team will count for something. IF we manage to pull that game out: We are going to the SB.
