The 2001 team only had 4... TB12, milloy, brown and law... McGinest, Bruschi, Seymour, Johnson were snubbed... Marcus got snubbed this year..

The reason why he didn't make it is because Chimere Dike has more punt return yards and same number of TD's. He also has 1,535 kick return yards to Jones' none.

Literally, thanks to his selection the cost of his 5th year option just increased to the equal of the transition tag for his position. It's doubtful he ever plays under the option, an extension should be in the offing, but that price is now the jumping off point for his extension

Chimere Dike came on during the Draft process.

You're correct my friend. Think it's safe to assume he sees an extension this offense season? Is he eligible yet? He clearly is our Best cover CB on the outside.. and we see how it looks whenever he's not playing..

I’m hoping that Drake is grounded enough that he recognizes he will get generational wealth without needing to extract every dollar, and takes a page out of Brady’s book and leaves some money on the table to allow the Pats to have a better team around him.

The Pro Bowl should consist of activities such as the QB skill competition, etc... and that's only if they're determined for it's existence in the first place.

The game itself is farcical because they're hardly trying, which makes it look like a behind-the-scenes footage of a movie, and yet injuries are still possible even going 30%. It's nonsensical. I've never heard or read anyone say: ''Man, i can't wait for the Pro Bowl'' I'm pretty sure that sequence of words has never been used by a single human being.

They do the QB skills competition now, but it sucks compare to what they used to do in the late 90s and early 2000s. Those QB skills competitions were great. Then again, legitimate Pro Bowl caliber QBs went to the Pro Bowl because it was a free all expenses trip to Hawaii. But now the top stars back out because there is no upside since it is at the Super Bowl host city and a free trip to Hawaii doesn't mean much anymore with today's NFL salaries.

Chris Jones got in and he is doing it off of reputation. He hasn't been all that great this season and Williams has outplayed him.

Most of the voting was done before Williams went to IR. It is a case of the Pro Bowl vote favoring legacy elite players over guys who haven't been at the top of their position before this year.

But when you look at total punt returns, it's clear Dike makes a lot more fair catches, 25-16. It seems like Marcus is much more willing to return a punt.

If he were more selective like Dike, his return average could be different.

ALSO, one of Marcus's long punt returns had to come back for a total phantom call. Against Carolina. Obviously this doesnt count in the stats.
